Action Stage 「Helios Rising Heroes」 -New Dawn- will be performed at Tokyo's Theatre G Rosso from 07/03 to 07/12 and at Kyoto Theater from 07/18 to 07/20. For this sixth installment of the series, we interviewed Seiya Inagaki (playing Keith Max), Yuya Asato (playing Dino Albani), and Ryoma Baba (playing Brad Beams). Their enthusiasm and reflections on the previous productions reveal their seamless chemistry, a 'miracle trio' that echoes their characters.
— At the time of this interview, rehearsals hadn't started yet. How are you feeling now, right before things officially kick off?
Inagaki: I don't want it to start.
Baba: Oh?
Asato: The opposite, huh.
Inagaki: I mean… once it starts, it'll eventually end, right? As the first day of rehearsals gets closer, I've started feeling like, "I don't want this to be over." Ever since THE WEST, I've been saying nonstop that I wanted to do New Dawn. And now the day has finally come. If we're doing it, I want it to be the best it can possibly be. But at the same time, I don't want it to end! I have so many mixed feelings.
Baba: Well, I want it to start!
Inagaki: Hey, you're making it sound like I'm the only one sulking here (laughs)!
Baba: No, no, I totally get how you feel. That's why for me it's more like, "Finally!", "At last!" It's been about two years since THE WEST, when the three of us first came together, and in the story I've been chasing Dino this whole time. If I had to compare it to something, it's like finally getting to see someone important to you after a long separation. Before you see them, you're nervous, your heart's racing. You've waited so long that you start thinking, "I want to see them, but maybe I don't?" I get that too. But we've been working toward this all along. At this point, I just want to see him already.
Asato: So it's "I want to see him," huh (laughs). I'm also really feeling like "it's finally happening." Up until now, the only scenes the three of us acted together were flashbacks. This time, I finally get to appear as Dino in the present, as a real, living part of their world, and I'm excited to show that. I've watched Keith and Brad searching for him all this time, and I've watched Seiya and BabaRyo continue chasing after him. Now that Dino will actually meet Keith, Brad, and the other characters, I think that's going to spark some new emotions in me as I perform.
― Could you tell us about the story of this new production?
Asato: When I first read this part of the story in the original game, I was genuinely moved.
Inagaki: I feel like New Dawn is, in a way, the first real "goal" for the three of us.
Baba: This production turned out to be far more of a 'Miracle Trio' story than I expected. Even though there are many other elements from HeliosR that could have been explored, they've extracted the Miracle Trio core from the original and woven it together beautifully.
Asato: Not just the characters themselves... their feelings toward each other, their emotional vectors, are depicted very clearly. Especially the way the two of them feel about Dino, and also Keith's feelings toward Brad, it's like those are spilling out. Keith has this pure belief that "Dino is alive," even though Dino is said to have died in the line of duty. Brad shares that feeling, but because he's the mentor leader, he's torn by the responsibility of his position…
Baba: Brad was the one who saw Dino's final moments, after all.
Inagaki: What will become of the long‑standing tension between Keith and Brad? I don't think their relationship itself will change, the trust they've built is still there. It's just that their feelings toward Dino are clashing head‑on. Will they be able to... go back to how they were?
Baba: I hope they can.
Asato: In HeliosR, each character's story keeps unfolding, so you end up reading ahead without meaning to.
Inagaki: Same here. If we tried to include everything, we'd have to split New Dawn into Part 1 and 2!
Baba: So this is not the end? We're getting New Dawn 2 too? (laughs)
Inagaki: I'm kidding (laughs), but that's how much material there is. I think this might be one of the densest stories in the entire series.
― Now that you've reached this point, we'd like to hear how your impressions of the characters have evolved. Let's start with Keith Max, portrayed by Inagaki-san.
Inagaki: A coolness that comes from what he keeps beneath the surface!
Asato: Mmm… though honestly, he's not that good at hiding it (laughs).
Inagaki: Right? (laughs) On the surface he seems cold, but inside he's burning. The gap between those two sides is huge. No matter what happens to him, he keeps pushing forward and that's what makes him such a cool guy.
— Keith isn't just part of the 'Miracle Trio', this production also highlights his role as a West Sector's mentor.
Inagaki: I think so too. The relationship he built with Junior and Faith in THE WEST carries over into this production. It's not like he set out to become a mentor, or even intends to stay one, it just happened naturally. And his approach to mentorship is completely different from Brad's. In West Sector, they don't cling to hierarchy. That equal footing is something I really like.
— Asato-san, your character, Dino Albani, is explored even more deeply in this story.
Asato: What I love about Dino is how warm he is and the way he interacts with everyone so openly and without distinction. In a way, he's like a soothing agent who can bring together even two complete opposites like Keith and Brad. He has a keen sense for subtle emotional cues. And this time, it's not just his brightness, we'll also see his sadness and the more painful parts of his story. I'm really looking forward to how that plays out.
― Was it challenging to bring that brightness to the surface?
Asato: Hmm, I'm not sure? I mean, Dino does have that iconic line, "Love and peace…☆" after all!
Inagaki: But honestly, aren't you basically Dino in real life?
Asato: I'm basically an Okinawan happy-go-lucky guy. I'm always blurting out "Happy!" without thinking. Since we're similar in that way, playing him doesn't feel forced. And hey, we both love pizza!
Baba: You bring that up every single time (laughs).
— Baba-san, you've been playing Brad Beams since the first production in 2022. How do you see him as a character?
Baba: He feels an enormous pressure to uphold what a mentor leader, what a 'hero' should be. But when he's with Keith and Dino, he can finally just be Brad Beams, a person. And I think it's because of those two that his human warmth, and the fierce passion he carries inside, really come to life.
― With such a rigid personality, I imagine it must be challenging to reveal unexpected facets of him.
Baba: He does his best to keep those sides under wraps, but whenever he's with Keith and Dino, they inevitably show. Oscar and Faith reinforce his strict image, yet being part of the 'Miracle Trio'... brings out flashes of his human warmth. I think that balance is what makes him such a compelling character.
― Keith, Dino, and Brad, often referred to as the 'Miracle Trio', are peers and close friends. Could you share a moment that brought the three of you even closer?
Inagaki: Can I be the one to bring this up? I'm actually hoping for the same thing again this year!
Asato & Baba: (Already knowing) … Right.
Inagaki: They treated me to dinner for my birthday.
Asato: I booked the restaurant, and of course, as the oldest, Baba-kun, picked up the bill.
Baba: Could I have the receipt, please? (laughs) Seiya eats an unbelievable amount. He has a bottomless stomach, I'm telling you.
Asato: Last time it was Okinawan food, right? Steak, Okinawa soba, burgers, island shallots... he ate a truly shocking amount.
Inagaki: I'm hoping for the same again this year! Even during rehearsals, I can just say, 'Let's do this,' without holding back, and they always go with it. I feel like that trust between us is the core of what makes our 'Miracle Trio' work.
Baba: Seiya was also the lead actor for THE WEST, and he really looked after everyone like a big brother. He'd talk things through with Jun (Noguchi), Gaku (Takamoto), and the ensemble kids, helping them shape their performances. But with us, he's more like the younger one, the little brother if you would. And honestly, it's really cute.
Asato: He always comes running over like, 'Let's go eat~!'
Inagaki: Within the cast, I fall right in the middle age‑wise, and I really enjoy that spot (laughs). I still don't fully grasp what it means to be a lead actor, but if I can step in as one for a moment, I just want this cast to have a good time together.
Baba: You said the same thing at the first meeting for THE WEST. I remember.
Inagaki: It's my motto. Everyone does their job properly, and we create an atmosphere where we can genuinely enjoy the process.
Asato: By the way, isn't this cast's average age pretty high? Juri‑san, BabaRyo, Yoko-san (Masafumi Yokoyama)... there are three people older than me, and I'm 38! And they're all doing full‑on hero action. It's amazing.
Baba: We're doing our best. Even in our forties, we'll be sweating and running around!
― Before the audience comes to see this new production, some may revisit the previous installments. Could you share your own personal standout moments from the series?
Asato: The bottle‑throwing scene in THE WEST. The three of us drilled that endlessly.
Baba: It had a weight inside, so it spun like crazy. Catching it properly was brutal (laughs).
Asato: And Brad had to catch it one‑handed and look cool, so we practiced like mad. It was fun, though.
Inagaki: For me, it's the opening of THE WEST. I walk out, light a cigarette, and the story begins. It was originally staged differently: Keith was supposed to be fighting with Brad. But when we tried it in rehearsal, it didn't feel right so after discussing it, we changed it to Brad walking calmly through the chaos. Since it's the first scene, that one stuck with me.
Baba: It was a great moment. My pick is Brad's final entrance in THE WEST. The set was three stories high, but we couldn't build that in the rehearsal room. So when I had to jump from the third floor to the second onstage, the height shocked me. A 'mis‑scene,' not a 'famous scene' (laughs).
Asato: No way , it was definitely a famous scene.
Inagaki: It looked cool! You grabbed the railing, right?
Baba: Yeah. I was terrified. It was so high...!
― Lastly, could each of you share a message for the readers who are looking forward to the upcoming production?
Baba: This is truly a long‑awaited show. Personally, I'm really happy to be standing on the stage of Theatre G Rosso again as a hero, it's the same venue where I once performed as a different hero in another production. After Tokyo, we'll also be heading to Kyoto Theater, and with each venue the show will take on a different flavor. I hope you'll feel the energy of our heroes wherever you see it. Please come and meet Dino!
Asato: You mean meet everyone, right?
Baba: It would mean a lot if you came to see Dino and the whole cast!
Asato: (laughs) We've been looking forward to this production just as much as all of you. By the time we finish the full run, I'm sure we'll feel something even greater than the excitement we feel now. We'll be enjoying it right alongside you with... Love & Peace! ☆
Inagaki: It's been about two years since THE WEST, and thanks to the staff who kept things moving... and everyone's support we've made it all the way here. This is a production built by all of us together. I'm certain it will turn out even better than you imagine. Let's enjoy it together, we'll be giving it everything we've got!
The two people who are familiar with me might already know that I've been really into Andy for a while now, and a few months back, I finally took the plunge and bought some of his merch. His debut photobook, Utopia, includes a 4-page interview, and today I thought I'd share part of it.
I'll probably get around to translating the rest when I have a bit more free time.
Enjoy! (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)
1. Current hobbies/Things I like
Shopping.
I love buying clothes, accessories, and things that improve my QOL (Quality of life). Lately I've been especially interested in beauty products, I've been enjoying trying new things, getting advice from people.
2. What I’m working hard on
Singing and interpersonal skills.
Out of acting, singing, and dancing, I still feel singing is where I have the most room to grow. As for relationships, I try to think carefully about how I interact with others and how I'm perceived, and act and speak accordingly.
3. My personal principle
Enjoying my work.
I think this applies to any job, but people who genuinely enjoy what they do are incredibly strong. Things others see as effort become enjoyable, and when someone like that does put in effort, it becomes twice as effective. They absorb so much more. I want to be that kind of person, so I approach my work with that mindset.
4. Type of woman I’m drawn to
Someone with a beautiful presence
Because I'’'m conscious of my own attitude, I'm naturally attracted to people who carry themselves beautifully.
5. Where I'd like to go on a date
A café.
I often go eat cake alone or visit cat cafés, things people say “men don’t usually do alone.” I’d be happy if someone would join me for that. Staying home and playing games together is also the best.
6. If I were to be reborn...?
A cat, a meerkat, or a wombat.
I listed these three, but what I mean is: "I want a slow, peaceful life." I'd love to be a pampered indoor cat, worshipped like a little deity, cuddling only when I feel like it, living my whole life without ever knowing the hardships of being a stray.
7. A recipe I recently tried
Pork belly rolls with myoga.
I love dishes that use myoga. They'’'re delicious, please give it a try!
8. Something I’m not good with
Shiitake.
I'’'ve tried many times, but I just can'’'t do it... I love other mushrooms though.
9. How I spend my days off
Going to cafés.
I can walk into any shop alone, even cute pancake shops that mostly have female customers.
10. My favorite time
Café time after shopping.
Whenever I go shopping, I always stop by a café on the way home. I love relaxing there and discovering new places.
11. A gesture I find attractive in women
Gentle gaze.
Even if there'’'s no romantic intention, when someone gives me a kind, affectionate look at an unexpected moment (not during conversation), it makes my heart skip a beat.
12. Do I want to get married?
Not right now.
I'm doing my best just taking care of myself at the moment, so even if I met someone wonderful, I'’'d want to focus on my work. Still, I imagine having kids would be a happy thing.
13. My first love
Someone who went to the same dance school when I was in preschool.
My memory is fuzzy, but there was a girl I was closest with back then. Being with her was simply fun, but over time I started acting cool around her… Looking back, I think that was my first crush.
14. A movie that left a strong impression
The Notebook and La La Land.
The Notebook is the movie I cried the most at, and La La Land is the one that made my heart dance the most. I recently watched a musical for the first time in a while and it made me want to do it again.
15. Something I can’t live without
My fans.
I am who I am because everyone supports me. I feel that every day.
16. A recommendation from my hometown, Osaka
America-mura.
You'll find that the employees love to strike up conversations, making it a place where you can really feel Osaka.
17. An unexpected truth about me
I carefully weigh my options before doing anything.
I don't know how others see me, but I always try to be genuine. Even if I look carefree, I'm really putting a lot of thought into my actions.
18. What I'’'d like to do if I had time off
Travel (within Japan).
I want to visit different places around Japan and eat lots of delicious food. I'd love to go to hot springs too.
19. If I weren't in entertainment…?
A dancer or a barista.
I've been dancing since I was little, so I'd be a dancer. If I hadn't picked dance either, I think I'd want to work at a café. Apparently when I was in preschool, I said I wanted to be a "necktie shop owner."
20. If I could have one superpower
Teleportation.
I love sleeping, so I'd want to sleep until the last minute. And more importantly! I could visit the cats at my family home in Osaka anytime! I'd go cuddle them every day.
I am only sharing a subtitle file (unofficial fan-translation!)
Translated/timed by me ✨ (My subs are always made without the use of mtl)

Please read!
- Never post screenshots/images/clips on public social media!!
- Do not remove credits from the subtitle file

You can download the subs from here. Enjoy! 💜
Translation notes:
Many of Mahoyaku's locations are named after locations on the moon. For example: 既知の遺跡 is named after 既知の海.
"Well known Ruins" is probably the most direct translation of 既知の遺跡. However, I wanted to maintain the "moon" naming scheme. English speakers call 既知の海 the Mare Cognitum, so the ruins became the "Cognitum Ruins".
The "Sardines for breakfast" joke in Murr and Shylock's song comes from a little untranslatable Japanese wordplay. 皮肉 means both "sarcasm" and "meat". To maintain the pun in English (and give you the same experience as a Japanese speaker) I chose to use a little wordplay with "sardonic" and "sardines".
If you're wondering what the "black company" thing Akira mentions is, here's some info.
I would like to thank Heathcliff for explaining ojiya, and the twins for explaining OJT so I don't need to give notes on those! 👏
If you have any questions, you're always welcome to ask <3
Well, here we are!

INTRODUCTION
Four years have passed since the Lost Zero incident.

Amidst the chaos, the heroes find themselves facing Zero once again, a foe they have clashed with countless times before.
As they confront each other once again, the time that had been lost begins to move violently once more—

Hiiiiii!!! Do you know if they’re will be a live stream viewing of the Helios east stage play for overseas fans? I’m seeing it all over my twt and I can’t wait for July to see it >_< tyyyy!!!
Hello! Sorry for the late answer, they did announce streams for EAST, but as far as I’m aware they’re not available on any international streaming sites right now (´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥`)
Adding the game image as the plays separately don't have covers~
HAPPY 2026 PEOPLE WHO FIND THIS AS I UPLOAD
It has been a long time coming but I've finally finished my final check of the subs for Act 3-A!!!! Yay!!!!
This has been so fun to sub although the play was a bit of a struggle thanks to poetic wording and lack of subjects in Japanese prose. I opted to spell Shift as Shifuto so as to not have it be Shift. It's my choice but if you want, you can totally just do a find&replace in your file lol.
As I am still underpaid for the amount of overtime I do at work, and I spend all my money on stage tickets/DVDs/actor goods, I would very much appreciate a little tip over on ko-fi. <3
You can find the subs here~
*note: these are made with the stream of the senshuuraku/finale of the A-shows. Inevitably they will not match the shonichi stream video, and I may retime them once the bluray is out and I manage to get a work video

The MDZS stage play subtitles are finally finished and ready to enjoy!
A few notes beforehand:
- This is a link to the subtitle file only, not the video.
- Please use these subtitles privately and with caution: posting screenshots of the stage play openly is highly discouraged, even more so with subtitles.
- If anyone asks for these subtitles, please do not just send them the file, link them back to this post. In general, sharing these subtitles outside of tumblr is absolutely okay, just please link this post as well.
- The subtitles are timed according to the evening livestream, so if you got the morning one, you might have to resync.
- I am not fluent in Japanese, therefore I relied on a huge amount of online dictionaries and translation tools, as well as a machine-generated Japanese transcription, and the official English translations for the novel and manhuas. Though I have put the utmost care into translating, editing and reviewing every single line, errors and inaccuracies are very likely to occur.
If after this whole wall of text you are still on board with my subtitles, you can find them here :)
I'm so happy to finally release this!! These subtitles were made with reference to this fantranslation of the original novels (with permission!) Thank you again to rayquo for allowing me to reference your translations!
The link above only contains the .ass subtitle file and not the video. Please do not ask me for the video file!
These subtitles are created for the official bluray, which can be purchased on Amazon! (Aside from Amazon, I don't know what other sites would be able to ship internationally, but if you are able to use a Japanese shipping address, Animate Japan also has it!)
If you'd like an idea of what to expect, I also subtitled the official performance digest video here!!
I hope everyone can enjoy the subtitles! It was great fun working on them!
The long awaited (I say but SUMMER FESTIVAL ended not even two weeks ago) -THE EAST- cast is here! I'm super excited, everyone looks so incredibly good!
Below, cast, comments and other info!
Kenta Matsui as Gray Reverse
Gray is quite shy and very sensitive, but that's what makes him such a great person who can value kindess and those little bits of happiness. The 'warmth' Gray possesses is something I want to hold dear in my life, and I feel there's a special 'warmth' that only I can express because of who I am. Going forward, I hope to get even closer and understand Gray better, and in the end, it would make me really happy if we could wrap 'THE EAST' with that 'warmth'.
It would mean a lot if you could watch over this growth process with a warm gaze, not like Asch, in the way Buddy would.
Also, this is my first leading role, and I'm super excited about it. I appreciate your support.
Gaku Matsuda as Asch Albright
I believe there's plenty of time to confront Asch's strength, and I want to train my mind and body to approach him with care.
I'm really looking forward to meeting a lot of 'heroes' soon, and even though I'm feeling a bit anxious about jumping into 'HeliSta' performances as Asch, I trust that his strength and my love for 'heroes' will support me.
I can't wait for the day I get to see all of you at the theater.
Naoya Iwaki as Billy Wise
Thanks for hanging in there, everyone!!
Finally!! The entire East Sector is here!!
I'm excited to bring you the best East Sector with Juri-san who plays Jay and our new friends.
I'm personally excited to go "Gotcha!!!" with everyone again. If there's a chance, I'd love for all the commanders to give it their all.
Please support "THE EAST"!
Juri as Jay Kidman
I've been looking forward to East Sector getting together since the first stage.
When I first met Billy on stage at 'SUMMER FESTIVAL', it felt like reuniting with a long-lost brother, haha.
I can't wait for the day when we can all greet the commanders together as the curtain rises on East Sector.
I have a feeling that 'THE EAST' is going to be a tougher performance than what we've had so far, so I'm going to stay prepared and work hard to make sure we have a great opening!
Thanks for your support!
【DL】 Action Stage 「Helios Rising Heroes -The WEST-」 Live Stream
Excited to finally share THE WEST subs!
Sorry for the long wait, it's been quite a tough road to reach this point, but I assure you it's worth it. Out of all 3 stages, THE WEST is likely my favorite, so I really hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did. (╥﹏╥)
I can't thank @thiswasmadeonawhim enough for the incredible work they did on the subs, and twee, pokei and amy for lending a hand with the songs.
Anyway! This isn't the final piece of good news. BD subs are on the way. Keep an eye out!! ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧

STORY
Raise the Curtain!!
~Come what may, let the show begin!!~
The city of New Million, where a million dreams come true, has flourished thanks to the efforts of its heroes――
In this city that welcomes visitors from all corners of the world, a dome-shaped stadium has been built on the water:
the 'Grand Sea New Million.'
The plan is to kick things off with a summer festival, and the stadium management is asking the 'heroes' for their help. In the interest of the city, 【HELIOS】 is fully committed to collaboration.
The 'heroes' will not only take the stage at the festival, but they'll also assist in managing the event, collaborating across different sectors to kick off the festival.
Nonetheless, problems keep occurring one after the other――.
To make things worse, Eclipse's schemes are quietly unfolding behind the scenes of the event.
Will the curtain rise on the "Summer Fes" without any issues!?

Comment from the director, Kotaro Yoshitani:
The live show of HeliSta is a captivating experience, akin to a theme park filled with everything HeliSta has to offer.
Despite being a live show, HeliSta Live is anything but peaceful.
Where there are heroes, there is Eclipse, which naturally leads to incidents and fascinating human drama.
From a thrilling and suspenseful storyline filled with excitement, we transition into an electrifying live performance.
As mentors join forces,
rookies give their all,
and Eclipse implements its schemes
all while running around the venue,
we will present a performance that transcends the Action Stage,
reimagines a live performance,
breaks down sector walls,
and challenges the distinctions between allies and enemies!
As a huge fan of 'HeliosR', I'm excited to share the finest entertainment with all the commanders.
Get ready for the hottest summer in HeliSta history!
✦ As confirmed by this post, the live part will include both old songs from past stages and new songs!
It’s really starting to feel like this is a helista-only blog. I’ve got a million things I want to write about, but helista just keeps stealing the spotlight (๑>•̀๑)
While I'm sure everyone is aware they cannot say much about the stage before the actual performances begin, we still managed to get some info about 'THE NORTH'.
This is totally unrelated, but just before 'THE WEST', Juri dropped by one day and brought the cast donuts. Everyone started spamming the donut emoji when the stream started which prompted Seiya to confess he actually ate FIVE donuts all by himself at the time.
Marion is both adorable and cool.
They bring this up a lot. He can be pretty cute, but since he’s still young, there are often conflicts between him and his teammates. Unlike Keith in 'THE WEST', who's got experience under his belt, Seiya points out that this aspect adds a unique vibe to the stage.
The way they talk about their characters suggests that Jay and Keith will mostly likely not have much impact on the storyline this time (although Seiya suggests keeping an eye on how Keith gets introduced this time). On the other hand, they do mention that Shuji, who plays Victor, is really cool and will have plenty of chances to shine. Gast and Ren too.
The live part has already been confirmed, but the two also reveal Jay and Keith will have a song! Not sure if this song will be one of the higawaris, but they do mention that it's somewhat... mature. Sexy even?
Really looking forward to the live part now. ദ്ദി ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ )
After announcing 'THE NORTH' earlier this year, it seems like they’ve been busy with all sorts of new stuff, and honestly, I’m all for it! I also can’t wait to see all the curtain call videos in January, ahah.
Ending this post with Juri's post live stream's dad joke:
"I had such a fun time chatting with Inagakeith.
ーJ(u)ay"
I can't believe it's finally happening, but I also can't believe we're getting to see some actors once again. I've missed Kura and Masa so much... (╥﹏╥)
The story
HELIOS, shortly after the 13th training team was established――
North Sector, which had been proudly ranking first in the Sector Ranking, encounters unforeseen challenges.
Because of North's drop in the ranking, Marion, the youngest mentor in history, feels humiliated and is unable to control his emotions nor his frustration.
Victor, the other mentor, is only interested in researching substances, and while Gast, their rookie, struggles to fix the team, Ren, the other rookie, is obsessed with revenge against Eclipse, the ones who killed his sister and parents.
The group is far from united.
As though matching the state of this divided team, the city's security deteriorates and problems arise one after another.
On top of that, an Eclipse member called "Zero" begins to appear in North City…
