To all Polish fantasy readers who may stumble upon this post - it's so unfair, isn't it?

A quick summary of my January reads:

• 4 comic books, the first series of two, which was bad, and two books from the other series, kinda just the beginning of a bigger story, which was ok so far.

• three audiobooks of varying levels of enjoyment; from 4 stars Silmarillion to 2 stars Anne Cleeves' Telling Tales (which deserves its own post, I swear).

• one ebook I still don't know what to think about (The Strange Affair of Spring-Heeled Jack - wasn't entirely bad, but it definitely lacked in some areas).

Apart from that, I've watched three seasons of three separate TV series, and... I feel I watch them mostly because I committed, not because I enjoy them.

I swear, it feels like Chicago PD's writers didn't write an episode of anything in their lives, it's so boring, so fake and lacking depth... And yes, I understand that a TV show doesn't have to be intellectual, deep entertainment - but it's bad even for TV standards...

But again, maybe it's the topic for another post.

Do you want to know my toxic trait?

I can obsess over one song from the album for weeks, listening to it all day to the point I can't stand it anymore and ditch that album for months.

My newest victim is Hellish Hunt by Grymheart. I know this album for some time and only today I was able to go past Ignis Fatuus. What can I say, this song is catchy 😞.

And I know, I KNOW, that's not how real music enthusiasts listen to music. I need to unlearn this 🥲.
