I'm only like halfway through the second book so no spoilers please 🙂‍↕️ I refused to search what isla looked like until the end of the first book and I was so immensely disappointed when I finally did ... She looks like she came straight from movie star planet 😔

Drew her more how I was picturing her throughout the book, original + explanation/rant under cut

i made her a little tanner, I was gonna make her hair darker because I complained the my boyfriend that I pictured her hair way less light than it is and then I made it exactly the same color 😭 I think I just didn't like how it looked with her skin tone

also changed her dress and no I am NOT a clothing designer I know it looks like something from tiktok shop but idgaf because at least she didn't just find a big roll of ribbon and wrap it around herself like what is that supposed to be 😭 hired a tailor to make her clothes and he couldn't even actually make the ribbon into a real dress

btw grim redesign next because when I searched him my jaw dropped in dismay

I would never have bought her online, she was 10 dollars more expensive in person but the online shopping is somehow 21 dollars so it's still ultimately cheaper in person 😭 glitch is so evil I'm sure they don't ship from the us but huh????? 21 dollar shipping???? Plus I don't trust shipping I'm still waiting for my 40 dollar inanimate insanity merch order to start shipping and it's been 4 months
