JONAH MAGNUS?
Photographer Debbie Parker captured this lightning strike in West Virginia. - Author: sco-go
Lake Kaindy (ÒаĐčŃÒŁĐŽŃ ĐșÓ©Đ»Ń, Qaiyñdy kölı, the "birch tree lake" or landslide), also known as a âsunken forestâ, is a lake located in the Kolsay Lakes National Park in Kazakhstan, 129 kilometers away from Almaty. The lake was created as a result of a landslide triggered by an earthquake over 100 years ago, forming a natural dam that blocked the gorge. Surprisingly, the water that filled the dam didn't destroy the spruce trees. Instead, it created a lake and its cold temperature prevented the tree trunks from decomposing.

"I can't believe humans would hunt the thylacine to extinction, humans are fundamentally evil" Hey, did you know that extinction was long thought to be impossible, and within 50 years of humans realizing that extinction via overhunting was a possibility it practically stopped happening? Did you know that humans are so desperate to prevent more losses that they're funneling millions of collective hours and billions of euros into helping other species? Hours and euros that could be spent on humans, and species on whom humanity's own survival does not depend? Did you know that due to an accidental introduction of rats, the Lord Howe Island stick insect population was brought down to 24 individuals and now there are tens of thousands of them?
This bug. This bug that, to most humans, is utterly useless, relatively gross, and completely foreign. Humans saved it because humans do not want to cause another extinction ever again if they can avoid it.
teamwork makes the dream work. and dreamwork. makes shrek
fantastic. i love it. i posted this after my wife said it yesterday and as i was doing it i was like "this can't be an original thought. as soon as i hit post someone's going to say 'you stole this from a tweet from 2014' and i'll say 'no, i stole it from my beautiful wife.'"
fuck football
functionally suicidal character saying âI would die for youâ to their significant other and its like. I get the sentiment, honey, but if a hot dog vendor told me heâd sell hot dogs for me, I wouldnât feel very moved now would I
Now a functionally suicidal character saying âI will live for youâ. Now thatâs a dynamic I can sink my teeth into.
now how about a functionally suicidal character saying "I will sell hot dogs for you"
Hotdog vender lays down their life to protect their suicidal partner, who then takes over the hotdog stand to carry on their memory...
It's like talking to a 2010 Old Spice commercial with you people
If you like a Long Island Iced Tea, wait until you try the provocatively named Adios, Motherfucker. Itâs fun, boozy and blue.
Found a recipe for it that's worded like electrochemistry wrote it
Update: this tastes like if a baha blast could kill you and annihilates any ongoing anxiety attacks
Update update: comparing this to a long island is like comparing a pickup truck to a tank
