forgive the 1am rambling but i need mizuki to be vital to saving kanade soooo so bad. i know its gonna be a mafu+kana centric arc and thats for the best but a little selfish part of me just needs mizuki to lock in the way she did for mafuyu. mizu and kana are the secret keepers. the ones who bottle their feelings up for the sake of protecting something or someone (mizuki hiding everything about her identity over fears of growing distant with n25 and breaking the fragile serenity their group had established / kanade bottling up her own emotions to focus on 'saving' others / etc). mizuki being the first person to break through to kanade in carnation recollection. kanade's wounded hands card specifically being the one to have the card story of mizuki coming out to n25, because the idea of opening up about hidden feelings is something that deeply connects kanade and mizuki. it always has. just as theyre equally connected by A) the ongoing fear that their feelings could destroy the bonds they want to protect, and B) the guilt of feeling selfish for that. i lost my train of thought. what was i going on about again. whatever. PLEASEEEE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GIVE ME KANADE DEVELOPMENT AND KANAMIZU CRUMBS PLEASE
