that's not what being closeted is. being closeted would entail presenting as a woman and hiding your male identity entirely. that brings about a whole layer of dysphoria for those going through those experiences. you're likely thinking of being stealth, which, by the way, is not accessible to everyone. and yes, if you can present as stealth, that's a privilege, and if you can have people treat you the same way that people treat cisgender guys in social contexts, that's an even greater privilege. as much as i support not lashing out and causing infighting, i also have to make sure i'm standing up to any language which excludes my non-passing brothers, sisters, and siblings.

ok so i know i'm not a man so i shouldn't be talking but this doesn't seem true. you can tell that trans men are affiliated with male classes because if you compare various facets of everyday life between the genders while assuming a sample entirely consisting of trans people, the men still make more than the women do. doesn't mean you're not oppressed, and doesn't mean you have to live a life atoning for your role in the patriarchy, but it feels like disrespecting trans men as a whole to agree that you're in some fundamental way not men.
