It was funny rewatching the show because these two barely interacted in seasons 1-2- so I was thinking I imagined some things. But then you get to Seasons 3-5 and you're like "Aha, there it is"

Anyway- I really like the idea that Wukong was just so attached to Macaque that even when they weren't "together" Wukong was perfectly content with giving, and recieving, kisses and other affections from just Macaque alone.

Like I still believe the man is affectionate to anyone he sees as a friend- but Macaque especially received it all.

I'm genuinely so confused about what proshipping is because I've seen so many different definitions for it and I've seen so many people both defend and criticize it

Like, for me, if I see a ship I don't like, I'll just scroll. I don't care if it's not to my taste, or doesn't make sense, it doesn't concern me

But if it's problematic, I won't just harass the person, y'know? I just won't engage because I don't want that stuff on my feed. I'll block, or if it's really bad, report, the account because I want my internet life how I want it

Is that considered "proship"? Not caring what someone ships unless it's problematic in any way, and even then not going out of my way to harass or call them out?

PROSHIPPERS are people who believe your taste in fictional ships don’t determine your morals, technically an anti-anti , what you’re doing is different in my own opinion because you’re just ignoring it. You’re not supporting it or anything. Proshippers (the ones I’ve seen atleast) tend to excuse problematic things saying that it’s “fictional” atleast the tiktok ones do.

While darkshippers support and romanticize serious topics, like incest, age gaps, abuse, etc technically pairings that are ILLEGAL and taboo
