Just to let everyone know, the lights will never go out, the bookshop will always be open and there’s an angel and demon waiting inside to have a drink with you.
It feels like they keep telling us it’s over, and while, yes, the series is done, that does not mean we have to stop creating. Good Omens has belonged to the fandom for a long time and as long as we keep creating stories and art then Crowley and Aziraphale will never be gone.
I have some big writing projects in the works, but this damn heatwave is melting my brain and I have summer seasonal depression which has made things hard to focus.
Anyway, I know I have made posts like this before, but please don’t stop writing and making art about them.
Agreed, the fans decide when it’s over. I still want to see everyones art, their writings, and our theories.
Keep creating!
Reblog if you think fanfiction is a legitimate form of creative writing.

Summary:
“Some snakes are ambi… amphe…. Both land and water,” Aziraphale added sagely.
“Don’t worry, they won’t come into the pool, if that’s what you’re worried about.”
“That is not what I’m worried about, thank you very much.”
“So why don’t you come in then?” Crowley wiggled his eyebrows suggestively even though his tone was entirely serious.

Aziraphale, a writer who takes himself very seriously, goes to spend the summer at his sister's mansion as he tries to focus on completing a draft of his next book. Much to his surprise, he finds great distraction in the form of a handsome groundskeeper with remarkable skills in the water.

Santa's Secret Hideaway - AppleSeeds - Good Omens (TV) [Archive of Our Own]
A great story where Crowley, a department store manager, finds a place to hide away to escape the stress . . . only to be discovered by Aziraphale, the man who's playing Santa.
This.
I will forever reblog this every time it’s on my dash because it should be this loud and simple. 💖
This a million times. Let people enjoy what they like and how they like it, whether it’s canon or not.

Ooh, what's this ineffable biology poster 👀??
As a biology student, mythology nerd, and big GO fan, I had to apply my extensive bird knowledge to the Ineffables, because it hit me: Aziraphale is such a mourning dove, and Crowley is definitely a black woodpecker. Hear me out!
Mourning doves are gentle and resilient birds that symbolize peace, hope, and enduring love:
In Native American traditions (especially among the Plains and Navajo), their cooing is heard as a prayer to the spirit world and a voice encouraging harmony among people.
In Mexican folklore, they guide the souls of the departed to rest.
Early Christian settlers in America also saw the mourning dove as a symbol of divine peace.
Bonus: Mourning doves looove eating, and they're little peacemakers who stay calm and rarely take the bait for a fight.
The black woodpecker, in myths and folklore, symbolizes death, transformation, and untamed nature:
In Slavic traditions, they guard the gate to the underworld.
In Norse myth, black-winged birds are said to drill into Yggdrasil (the World Tree), letting the forces of destiny seep into the world.
Since they live in dead trees, they symbolize how even decay can lead to new life.
Bonus: In some Norse folklore, the black woodpecker is a wild, untamed bird that can summon thunderstorms with its drumming. It. Can. Summon. Thunderstorms!
Excuse my long rant, and please have some sketches tihi
