Hit Me Up feat. Giriboy
Yunho: For Hit Me Up, wouldn't it make you curious and think, "Will Giriboy and U-know Yunho match each other?" We are targeting that part (t/n: people's curiosity.) Giriboy is a shy friend. I made three requests to edit the song. He was surprised about the recording suddenly and to hear that he's good at rapping.
- I wanted to tell you what type of music U-know Yunho likes. The music colors of being in a group and as a solo artist can be different. I tried to show it to you with sincerity.
- For Hit Me Up I wanted to challenge myself with something new, so Giriboy and I collaborated. This song is witty and playful.
- I tried to sing in a stylish and not-that-intense way. So far, I tried to express it a comfortable and friendly way
- The song's original title was "Pull Up" and I suggested changing it to the word "불러(booluh, meaning call me)." The change allowed fans to sing along easier as well as gave me the feeling that they're calling me (Fans scream happily) As you may know, Giddyboy featured this song. He gave the idea of fancily describing a night road with lighting as an "orange carpet." Literally there was no singer who blatantly included "SM" in the lyrics. So we did it. I said SM, he said JustMusic It was so much fun. Moreover, he's got a pure soul! I really loved it.
