idk if this has been said before but it's so devastating that we NEVER see jackie smile when she's alone. every single time she's by herself, she looks miserable.
First thing everyone needs to understand about Jackie Taylor is she cannot stand herself, and spends most of her time desperately trying to convince people otherwise. In her rare moments alone, the performance drops and this is what we see.

I think the YJ showrunners have a perfect opportunity to make Nat’s bisexuality/queerness canon in the post-rescue timeline without turning it into a big statement. Imagine a montage of her 20s: drifting through punk shows, spiraling into drugs and hookups. We see her stumbling into motel rooms with people of all genders, kissing women on the dance floor, possibly catching glimpses of longer relationships with both men and women. No explanation is needed, it’s simply shown and recognized by the audience. And I think this aligns with how Nat would view it herself. She doesn’t think much about it, she doesn’t have to label herself and doesn’t feel the need to dwell on it, she just follows attraction wherever it leads.
