Gosho's inability to explain why Hakuba stopped trying to investigate Kaito and started to assist him out of nowhere has led to the only conclusion that he is gay.

Thinking about how since Kaito and Shinichi are cousins, Saguru must impress Shinichi first in order to get his approval to date Kaito. Which could be really funny depending on how it goes:

Either Shinichi is already really impressed with Saguru because they're both nerds about Holmes and detectives-in-common, and badgers Kaito about his choices / hesitations about going out with Saguru as more than friends.

Or, every single trait that impressed him before he knew he was trying to date Kaito becomes a major flaw in his eyes and he starts criticizing him. For a lot of things that could also apply to himself (but it's different! He's allowed to be full of flaws - but not the guy who's going to date Kaito!).

csp assets had this jewelry box model for free download, and I wanted to stick Shinichi in there.

so I loosely had this kskb prompt in mind but wanted to play with Kaito's various forms (large humanoid dragon and small actual dragon). Design was hard, but also really fun fufu~ I gave Knight Spade a slight new redesign.

I was told that he looks like a little pokemon, and I guess he kinda is! 😆

first meet in college

If this is your first time hearing about the whole deal, we'll give you the short and sweet of it: we're recruiting artists to recreate the entire first volume of Magic Kaito! Each person who joins gets a page (or maybe two!) and then we put the whole thing together to make a tapestry of over a hundred artstyles in a single volume.

Anyways, the designs are suprisingly fun to draw? Kaito new (finally!!) outfit is really cute. It's a bit prince-like and also sailor-like at the same time, which is funny since he hates fish. I don't usually do full renders because i'm not that confident with colors yet, but I'm glad I did since I was able to figure it all out in the end~

it all started because of this twitter user pointing out that the Osaka Expo 2025 venue looks like a setting out of a detco movie (x)

then someone fixed the color, added "original work by gosho aoyama", and voila (x)
