It's done.

In the beginning, we had a dream: to show Ekoda's prince of thieves, Gosho Aoyama's favorite son, all the love and talent that four-eyed little smartass in Beika can get without asking. Like so many dreams, its path was neither short nor easy; things waxed and waned and, at least once or twice, might've fizzled out altogether before that first interest check even went up.

But we believed, and you believed, and whatever pits and bumps came along the way, all of us worked it through. No phantom thief could ask for a better assemblage of artists, or a better community.

This my art for Kaito early Birthday this year

(Next is my small chitchat and hiatus)

I just want post in his birthday, but suddenly something happened in real life. So i can't do anything beside posting now.

So... Ehem... I gonna hiatus half year/quit drawing. And im fully gone to focus my real life. I just wanna post this in art X and Bluesky but i already unistalled X. :'D

So, if i already post this and you now read this. Then im already unistalled Tumbler too. Im sorry if i suddenly quit.

At the first i want to share my personal problem, but think twice or third time. Maybe better if i solve this alone, this problem too heavy if im shared it.

A friend showed me a silly picture and said, "This is so kaishin," and i ended up drawing it

The first illustration is actually inspired by m2go (in terms of art style & themes). I just finished reading their new doujin fukanzen checkmate. The story was so cute that i had to draw something for it 🥺🥺

I don't want to spoil anything major, so i'll give a really short summary! The story depicts one of the interpretations of kaishin first encounter (something i can never get enough of). They met unexpectedly one day and ended up hanging out to clear up the suspicion that kaito is kid.

M2go is also one of the artists i look up to, so i'm glad i could draw something for them even if they themself might never see it, teehee

hello!! I've heard of these birds, they're so cute and so round, so fluffy ^^!! Kaito is definitely going to have a flock of them around him hehe. thank you for a lovely prompt! the birds were a joy to draw~

one of my favourite types of blushy flustered kaishins is that shinichi is in a perpetual state of blushy flustered while kaito gets by normally for the most part but when shinichi so much as breathes the smallest reciprocation of affection, he explodes and die

The reblogers have been so sweet that i might start crying (actually did a little 🥹). Thank you so much for all the kind comments!! They were lots of fun to read, and it warms my chest to see other kaishin fans enjoying what i made. I'm going to use it as fuel to make more kaito + shinichi arts, hehe 😼

Short yap, while making the piece, i tried to convey a sense of familiarity between the two and went for a vibe that's almost magical as if to say "it's a short beautiful moment shared by the two of us." A moment frozen in time! That's all from me, once again thanksiess

Anyways, the designs are suprisingly fun to draw? Kaito new (finally!!) outfit is really cute. It's a bit prince-like and also sailor-like at the same time, which is funny since he hates fish. I don't usually do full renders because i'm not that confident with colors yet, but I'm glad I did since I was able to figure it all out in the end~
