im in china right now and its dcmk merch heaven....... there was also dcmk pens, lollipops of their faces, popcorn, toothbrushes??? also literally all of these items were blind boxes lol.

however kid is almost always the rare prize T_T and many of the shinichi prizes are shinran themed

i restrained myself and only got a few things. i bought 2 keychain blind boxes and pulled amuro TWICE (i donot like amuro)

#i was thinking about this again #and why i latched on so hard to dcmk/kaishin last yr #i kind of love imperfect media #the writing in the show rly has all the isms #and also a nasty amount of glorifying cops #but like it really encapsulates chronic illness and body dysmorphia in a functional way #in a tragic way and in a coping the best you can way #even if those ways are ridiculous #shinichi is his own dead anime mom #idk that feels related somehow #my chronic illness took a nosedive last year and i find myself reading shinichi/conan-centric hurt/comfort fic whenever things get worse #idk is this too real for my fanart tumblr acct haha #and then all the fic about kaito kid are about the loneliness that comes with secrets #relatable relatable too relatable
