HEADCANON 004. bijū traits.

aratachi has specific traits that are a direct result of kokuō being sealed inside him. the most obvious one being the shape of his teeth. most people think he sharpened them on his own, but they grew in that way. there's a natural lining of red around his eyes that mirrors kokuō's own eyes.

it isn't only looks, either. aratachi takes after her in many other ways too. he packs on muscle fairly quickly, has extremely strong legs, and can essentially breathe under water for long stretches of time. he has a habit of stomping when he's irritated or wants something, has a loud, chattering laugh, and can sleep standing up. he also tends to whistle and click his tongue a lot.
