You have to be a long distance couple now that the boys are on tour.
You call Luke’s cell, checking in on him.
“Yeah, Y/N?” Luke murmurs groggily.
“Oh, Luke, I’m sorry, it’s probably late there. I’ll call tomorrow-” You start to say.
“No! Y/N! I miss you too much. It’s worth being up late. How are you? Is there a reason you called?” You can hear him grinning tiredly, squinting his eyes.
“There isn’t any reason, Luke. I just miss you, that’s all. I wish you were back. Where are you finishing the tour?” You smile, throwing your F/F into your mouth.
“In Melbourne, in 3 months. Haha! I can smell the F/F from here.” He laughs.
“Yeah, yeah. Listen, I miss you.” You sigh, looking down, sipping a tall glass of water.
“And I love you. Do not ever forget that, Y/N. You’re my one and only. I want to have... I wanna have a family with you, Y/N. When I get home.”
“Really..?” You gasp, hopefully. “You really...”
“Dead serious! I would do anything for my Y/N.”
“Love you, Luke, but I gotta run. I’m going to work. Bye!” You say, bouncing off the walls.
You skip down the stairs of you’res and Luke’s apartment and whisk your car keys and head to your dream job, a(n) D/J.
You sit at a red light when Luke calls you.
“What’s up?” You ask, confused. “I thought you were sleeping.”
“I forgot! Happy birthday! Also, what time will you get home?” He asks you.
“I want to talk to you, I don’t know.”
“Okay, I have to go, bye, I’m at D/J now.”
Why was he calling you? It’s the middle of the night in America.
7:00 PM rolls around after working a hard day of D/J.
You pull up outside the building that you and your boyfriend Luke live in. You park in the lot and stroll into the building.
You ride the lift up to you’res and Luke’s floor. “Hi Sasha. Nice seeing you today.” You smile, speaking to your 80 year old neighbour, Sasha.
“Happy birthday, dear! Looking lovely tonight.” She smiles.
“Do you need any help with your bag?” You ask her. She’s done so much for you in the past.
“No, honey, it’s alright. I’m just bringing this down the aisle to Andrew. Happy birthday again, dear!” She yells, knocking on Andy’s door.
“Thanks Sasha!” You yell back, unlocking the door to your apartment.
You step in and turn on the lights.
“Surprise!” All the boys pop out at you, making you jump.
“Oh my god!” You pipe, jumping. Luke pops up behind you and gives you a hug.
“What are you doing here?” You ask them.
“We couldn’t leave you alone on your birthday.” Luke says, kissing you on top of your head. “Boys, will you get the chips out.”
“There are chips right there!” Michael calls, Calum gutting him soon after. “Never mind.”
The boys peek through the door, watching you and Luke. You didn’t notice them, nor that they were filming.
“Y/N, I love you so much. And what I said about having a family, I wasn’t lying. I want you to be all mine, forever. So make this the most incredible day of my life, next to our first beautiful baby.”
Your mouth drops open as he falls on his knee and pulls out a velvet box.
“Oh my god, Luke. Is this-”
“Y/N M/N L/N, Will you do the honours and be my beautiful, beautiful wife? Will you marry me?”
“Luke... I- I-... Yes!” You yell. He slides the ring on your finger and places his soft lips onto yours.
“I love you so much.” Luke says through the kiss. Clapping is heard from the kitchen.
You and Luke have been married for 5 years and have a 4 year old daughter named Jocelyn and a one year old son named Daniel. You live in an incredible home, not too big but big enough for a few more children. You have a Siamese cat Louise, and two dogs, one a Chow Chow named Tammy and the other a Siberian Husky named Katherine. Your family takes a vacation to California for the entirety of the summer in the house that the boys used to write in. The band has disbanded on good terms and still talk to this day. Your daughter has a lovely singing voice after her father, but Luke says it’s from you.
