Is the newtmas fandom still alive???
If so, pls pls pls does anyone have any good fic recs that take place in the glade/maze or at some point before safe haven but newt lives? Like not “newt lives and the story starts with them waking up at the haven”, and not like he lives but they think he dies so they leave him behind? With canon universe ish and newt survives? Or is this too niche?

I have only just gotten into the maze runner fandom, but already I am greatly disappointed by the lack of Thomas/crank!Newt fics.
currently obsessed with the idea of minho and newt listening at the door when thomas and teresa are talking for the first time and they overhear thomas saying:
Yeah but most people call me Thomas. Well, except for Newt--he calls me Tommy.
and newt blushing the brightest red, minho snickering next to him, delighted by the embarrassment of the budding crush his buddy has, so much so that hours or maybe even days later, out of nowhere, when it's just them two, minho will whisper in an exaggerated voice
"Except for Newt, he calls me Tommy"
"Shut UP, Minho!"
