Mary and Danny has know either sense childhood and gone back and forth when there relationship but get together end season one.
In season two that Mary made right choice but get cold feet but understand able that she said no first proposol because Danny come home from the war and he didn't had any sleep which make someone crazy and it scared Mary but after Danny got his sleep after Ed convince him.
After Danny become himself than Mary was relief but later Danny proposol few episodes after his first attempt but Mary deside that she wanna to end relationship. Mary was better choice for Danny than Delinda.
Jenny was best because Danny was ready move on with life and she didn't use him and she made him feel like adult for once compare to Delinda and Mary the reason that Delinda only used him and Mary reminded him to much of past.
