I have until my next birthday this December to live. Or at least, that's what the official opinion is...I won't go into detail here, but for people like @freefinancialhugs , you guys deserve to know this.
So. A couple of you talk to me and sometimes I disappear. Look. Life is getting way out of hand, and being bad at communication doesn't help me one bit. I know a couple of you are worried, or at this point, downright done with my shit. This post is an apology. I honestly enjoy talking to the few who have conversed with me at times, but to think that I'm this screwed, sometimes I just want to leave people out of it as it gives it's less of a hassle for you all to be constantly worried. It's not what I want, but it's a bad habit to break...so... Um.... I'm really sorry....

PSA to Roleplayers
Just a friendly reminder to give everyone a chance that tries to roleplay with you, despite their quality of writing (unless of course theyāre just being trolls or abusive, but thatās another thing entirely).Ā
If someone has the courage to walk up and throw roleplay at you, it really is the least you can do to roleplay with them in return. Ā Time and time again Iāve experienced amazing roleplay with people some might not give the time of day due to poor spelling, grammar, etc. Ā A personās ability to know lore, as well as creating a fun scene and character has absolutely zero to do with their ability to write flawless and in multiple paragraphs. Some people simply struggle with spelling or grammar, some have learning disabilities, and some may not even know English all that well. None of those have any bearing on their ability to roleplay, just their ability to write.
Last night an example of this prompted me to write this up. Ā Standing around with @morghannah and roleplaying, an injured paladin came running up seeking healing. His writing was awful. We didnāt shy away and instead our characters helped take him to the Cathedral to find a priest at his characterās request. Ā From there it became hilarious as his character recalled how heād been injured (hisĀ āprofane desire and matingā with a Death Knight led to it). Ā After he was healed, all the characters returned to the Reinhardt clinic where he began to recall the story of his life to Conwulf. Ā I could tell he absolutely could not wait to tell someone his characterās backstory, and our characters listened. His lore and story was GOOD. Heād put a lot of thought into it. After that, his character got up and began to profusely thank our characters for being there for him, which transitioned OOCly as he confessed heād seen Reinhardt members roleplaying for a while now and he never had the courage to approach because his English is terrible, heās new to roleplaying, and everyone writes so well. Ā We made his day. Ā Not only that, we had a lot of fun, laughs, and got development for our own characters in the process.Ā
TLDR; Roleplay with people regardless of their writing ability. Ā You might just be amazed, and you might just inspire someone and make their day.
