in case you were wondering:

‘storm in a teacup’ is an idiom that means making a big deal about little things, a tempest is a really harsh storm, so the first line basically means making something big out of nothing; blowing things out of proportion. the next, ‘get unique’ is just literally don’t be like everyone else. a peroxide princess is ur typical bleach blonde, blue eyes, lots of money american girl that everyone desperately wants for some reason. a fake person, basically. pete’s saying you should shine like shark teeth, or, don’t be and look like everyone else. shark teeth are all uneven and crooked and different, but each one is important, just like you.
