So this blog is NOT

Okay, so I'm gonna quickly summarize what's been going on and why I haven't posted art. I hit the biggest damn emotional crash I could have possibly experienced. It took me a long ass time to recover enough to even talk to people again. I did some seriously rude and fucked up things, and I'm gonna forever be sorry for them. Anyone who experienced that from me here, I'm genuinely sorry.

I've been taking time to just get my head together and in doing that I'm gonna clean up some stuff. This blog is part of that. I won't be deleting it but I will no longer be active on here. I'm gonna move and I'll provide links to the places that will be the most active. I know that most of us are used to this website being an absolute hell hole, but for the sake of my mental health as to keep from having a full relapse I'll be leaving. I will be deleting my NSFW blog, but this one and my main will not be deleted. I'll leave this art blog here for anyone to stumble upon. But there will be no more updates after this.

Heres the thing you gotta understand about statistics. 

“Increases your chances by 80%” does not mean “there is now an 80% chance”. 

If your chances were previously 10%, your chances are now 18%, not 90%. 

if your chances were roughly 1%, they’re now just slightly less than 2%. 

thats how that works.

100% is just another way of saying twice more likely. So 100% more basically means multiply the number you do have by 2.

This is why I took stats instead of calc. Because I don’t build engineer bridges in my everyday life but I sure do read studies that affect how I might live my life if I misinterpret them.

The average person definitely assumes, quite understandably, that “600% INCREASE!!!” must always mean a whole lot even if it literally only means that one of something is now six of something. Politicians probably take a shitload of advantage of this confusion.

If you intend on using it for commissions or making any kind of money please consider buying a license for it. The license covers both versions of Sai. It’s a single payment that ensures you will have access to all future updates and it supports a man that has created a genuinely wonderful product. You are not sticking it to any “system” by pirating Sai, you’re just denying a man money he’s earned by putting an affordable alternative to vastly overpriced software like Photoshop out there for us to use. 

One of the reasons Sai 1 had few updates and it took so long for the developer to begin working on 2 was the sheer amount of piracy denying him money to continue working on such great programs. Hard work is worth paying for. Stop promoting the mistreatment of small businesses.
