To other helpols, do you do anything special when praying to the theoi for something particularly "large" or important? Things like major life events, court hearings, job interviews, big health procedures, etc.

Typically if I’m praying for something important, I treat the prayer:moment with the same importance (if I have the spoons).

I’ll take a ritual shower beforehand, choose specific clothes (for me this usually involves skirts or my ritual dress, as well as some form of head covering), and use wine as a libation instead of water.

Not that I feel like I have to do any of this - I do it because I want to, and because I feel like it reflects the spirit of Kharis. As well as one of my personal maxims (Do Ut Des; I give so that you may give).

There was also a festival meant for Hyacinthus, and also a festival of Women in honor of him.
