I may or may not have been bragging about my dandelion and clover recipes. Dandelion tastes like spinach and white clover tastes somewhere between spinach and lettuce. Lmao

I wanna draw a short comic(And I will try but its gonna be a while before I can. My art skills aren't very good.) But first I wanna share the description of what I am tying to draw since I'm a better writer than artist.

A funeral. A gorgeous coffin surrounded by flowers and mourning people. People are dressed in all black and the parents of the deceased are being comforted.

But inside the coffin there's no body. Just a mannequin, wearing a flowy dress. The mannequin has no face but has been put in a long wig. The face of the deceased is next to the coffin.

Then cut to a man in the corner. Who looks identical to the picture of the deceased girl. Except he has his hair cut different and he looks happy. Like he isn't mourning at all.

The last panel has the only dialog

Someone approaches the man and asks how he knew *redacted*

The man makes a joke that ends in

"Its rather odd attending my own funeral. Seeing as I never died"

Mason Masters is an oc I made for Danny Phantom. Vlad used his cloning tech to steal some of Maddy's DNA and made a baby out of it. 1 year younger than Danny and tried to turn him into a halfa at age 13.

Surprise Surprise. Vlad fails. Kid dies. But that's not the end of the story cause kid still becomes a ghost. And isn't happy with this outcome. So goes to the morgue and just takes their body back. Using their ghostly powers to possess the corpse and stop it from rotting.

And now "lives" in Gotham as a homeless teen to hide from his Vlad.

I'll add to this whenever I get brain worms. It's a cringe worthy oc but it's fun.

He is both the older and younger brother to Danny. Chronologically he was born 1 year before Danny was born. But he died when he was 13 and ghosts don't age. So by the start of the show's timeline Mason is 13 and Danny is 14.

Mason is also trans. Was raised under a different name(A variation of Maddie). He was raised to be what Vlad saw as the perfect daughter of Maddie.

Of course its Vlad so he's not raised at all in the way that Maddie would've wanted any kid of hers to be treated.

Mason knows he's Maddie's kid. But the exact story he was told is very different than what actually happened.

Vlad basically told Mason he was an affair baby. That when Maddie was pregnant she went on a business trip before Jack noticed and only went back to her family after she was healed enough that Jack wouldn't notice. And left Mason to be raised by his father, Vlad.

This isn't what happened but its why Mason never reached out to Maddie. He was under the impression she knew and knowingly left her kid to be raised by Vlad.

The eyes look dead in both intentionally. Though for different reasons before and after he died haha. The piccrew didn't have teal as an option for the outfits but Mason was dressed in the color scheme we see Maddie wear in the show before he died. And Vlad of course made many comments on how their red hair reminded him so much of Maddie.

Anyway despite his tragic backstory and the fact he is homeless, you'll have a hard time finding a happier kid. As a ghost his obsession essentially freedom, agency and bodily autonomy. The 3 things he was denied in life. And the 3 things he has an abundance of now that he is in Gotham.

He spends his time working for villains for the most part. But he mainly works for anyone willing to pay in cash, not ask many questions and willing to hire child labor for his chosen profession. He handmakes clothing and other fiberarts in the styles of the gotham underground alt scene.

So that does mean he makes a lot of henchman uniforms.

Scarecrow occassionally hires him to do stuff and will dose him with fear toxin. But since Mason is dead and doesn't have biological functions it never works on him. This pisses Scarecrow off and he keeps hiring the kid whenever he gets the chance and giving him stronger and stronger doses. Mason has not realized that Scarecrow isn't actually interested in his ability to repair his costume for him as he keeps hiring him for.

Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn are both somewhat fond of the kid. Ivy being a biologist having spotted the signs that this kid isn't alive and Harley being a psychologist spotted the signs that he's a child abuse survivor and so they occasionally hire him. He designs cool stuff for them to wear when fighting Batman. And has also made a few gifts for their anniversary that Harley gave to Ivy out of upcycled plastic bags that were woven into pots for her babies.

He seems like a walking contradiction at times looking from the outside. He was obviously educated to be upperclass by anyone who's experienced being upperclass. He can move with the grace of someone who has been trained as a ballerina for years. He dresses in a combination of punk and early 2000s emo/scene fashion with an 80s hairdo. He doesn't have any of the entitlement associated with the education they have and is perfectly happy sleeping on the street. Will say insane sounding statements like "Bank accounts as a scam created by the government." Only to go into a speech about red lining, preferential treatment to the rich when it comes to interest rates and the increased cost of poverty if anyone asks him to explain. Followed by him 30 seconds later making the type of impulsive decision that only a 13yo could make. He knows how to manipulate people at a level that is impressive for a teenager but as soon as he stops masking is extremely visibly autistic. Is the happiest kid you'll ever meet but will throw hands without a second thought if you throw the first punch. They are living their best life, they're homeless and the life they lead is one most people would hate. They love music and whenever they have free time will go brusking with their keytar. They have plenty of money in savings and absolutely no plan to stop being homeless anytime soon.

I just had a tooth removed and need to distract myself. So here's more Mason info.

Mason was conscious during his autopsy. Of course Vlad just paid the guy off to pretend Mason didn't get murdered but he still had to get an autopsy to make it look right on paper. By the time the autopsy had started Mason as a ghost had woken back up inside his body. They decided the best course of action was to continue to pretend to be dead and sneak out once the mortician had left.

After the mortician had left Mason took an extra pair of scrubs and the bribery money and snuck out of the morgue. He bought new clothes and a bus ticket out of town with that cash and set up in Gotham afterwards.

He calls this the best thing to ever happen to him. His death and the dissection afterwards. Since it led to them finally leading a life(or rather existence) that they were happy with after 13 years of just trying to wait till their 18th birthday so they could get out of there. They're happy they got to leave 5 years earlier than they originally thought.

They are still having to hide though. Vlad is trying to find their ghost in the ghost zone. Has not yet considered to check earth at all. Nevermind started poking around Gotham

And he will make jokes to himself(and others who know he's undead) that he's happy he died before he got his first period(usually said to lighten the mood when someone he's fond of has period cramps.) He is upset about one part of his death though. He usually doesn't talk about it with anyone but he's a angry at the fact no one mourned him.

His death is based around some memories of myself at age 7-8 and how a piece of myself died because of the situations I faced. I did end up better off because that piece of me died, I could protect myself and it freed me from a lot of the rules that piece of me followed. The part of me that died was my fawn response and my desire to be loved and cared for by my parents.

So Mason's death is when he goes from desperately trying to appease Vlad and following the rules and overachieving because he thinks it will minimize the pain and abuse he recieves to just living on his own in a place his father can't reach or hurt him anymore. He's free, he's largely happy and enjoys life. He lives in a way that others think he should be miserable. Afterall he's sleeping outside and has no family around.

But he has his community, he has his passions and he's a skilled valued member of the places he chooses to go and the people he chooses to keep around him value him and while he doesn't think they love him and he doesn't love them, not on a friendship level at least. He feels empathy for those around him and knows that because he's valuable that they'll take care of him when he desperately needs it. Because otherwise they'll lose access to what he provides.

Mason has a very interesting view of luck. He's the kind of person who will show up to a beach trip covered in sunscreen with a wide brimmed hat, sunglasses and umbrella and be diligent about reapplying sunscreen.

And when the person he goes to the beach with doesn't bother to do more than rub a bit of sunscreen on their face and spend the whole day not reapplying the sunscreen and get burned Mason will describe himself as lucky for not getting a sunburn. And that Mason was lucky that he had aloe on hand to help so that Mason had the convenience of not running out to the store to get the aloe for his very crispy friend.

And describe his friend as unlucky for getting such a bad sunburn.

Many stories he tells about his life go something like

"I took steps to improve my life and make things better for myself. It took a lot of effort and I was actually disadvantaged in making these improvements in ways most people aren't."

"My efforts paid off and my life benefitted from the fruits of my labor."

Mason is very good at manipulating people for a 13yo. He had spent his life using manipulation to keep himself and others safe from Vlad. He had to be. Getting bad grades could get him hurt. Or worse(In Mason's mind) it could get the maids and other domestic workers Vlad hired hurt.

He was very good in school, got all As in his prep school. Practiced the violin and piano for hours daily, took all the sports Vlad wanted his 'daughter' to excel in and dressed in the way he wanted.

Beyond that Mason learned how to speak and control his face to keep Vlad happy. Learned how to change that to appease people who weren't Vlad. And he learned how to use those same skills to scare people off and make it undesirable to talk to him when he needed to get people away from him for both of their safeties.

Nobody suspects what's going on at home even after Mason dies. Everyone just thinks the studious kid who took part in a lot of sports and music classes but had almost no friends left the school.

Mason's intelligence and wit doesn't lead to him being okay with his death. He is still mostly okay with it, but one thing that he is angry about is because he's never going to have a fully developed frontal lobe he will never achieve the potential he had. He will do a lot with the existence he now has. He's determined to do so. But he's still upset that his potential to be a very skilled and intelligent adult is gone. He'll now only ever be great for a teenager. Skilled for his age. Strong for someone who never hit puberty.

Mason Masters is an oc I made for Danny Phantom. Vlad used his cloning tech to steal some of Maddy's DNA and made a baby out of it. 1 year younger than Danny and tried to turn him into a halfa at age 13.

Surprise Surprise. Vlad fails. Kid dies. But that's not the end of the story cause kid still becomes a ghost. And isn't happy with this outcome. So goes to the morgue and just takes their body back. Using their ghostly powers to possess the corpse and stop it from rotting.

And now "lives" in Gotham as a homeless teen to hide from his Vlad.

I'll add to this whenever I get brain worms. It's a cringe worthy oc but it's fun.

He is both the older and younger brother to Danny. Chronologically he was born 1 year before Danny was born. But he died when he was 13 and ghosts don't age. So by the start of the show's timeline Mason is 13 and Danny is 14.

Mason is also trans. Was raised under a different name(A variation of Maddie). He was raised to be what Vlad saw as the perfect daughter of Maddie.

Of course its Vlad so he's not raised at all in the way that Maddie would've wanted any kid of hers to be treated.

Mason knows he's Maddie's kid. But the exact story he was told is very different than what actually happened.

Vlad basically told Mason he was an affair baby. That when Maddie was pregnant she went on a business trip before Jack noticed and only went back to her family after she was healed enough that Jack wouldn't notice. And left Mason to be raised by his father, Vlad.

This isn't what happened but its why Mason never reached out to Maddie. He was under the impression she knew and knowingly left her kid to be raised by Vlad.

The eyes look dead in both intentionally. Though for different reasons before and after he died haha. The piccrew didn't have teal as an option for the outfits but Mason was dressed in the color scheme we see Maddie wear in the show before he died. And Vlad of course made many comments on how their red hair reminded him so much of Maddie.

Anyway despite his tragic backstory and the fact he is homeless, you'll have a hard time finding a happier kid. As a ghost his obsession essentially freedom, agency and bodily autonomy. The 3 things he was denied in life. And the 3 things he has an abundance of now that he is in Gotham.

He spends his time working for villains for the most part. But he mainly works for anyone willing to pay in cash, not ask many questions and willing to hire child labor for his chosen profession. He handmakes clothing and other fiberarts in the styles of the gotham underground alt scene.

So that does mean he makes a lot of henchman uniforms.

Scarecrow occassionally hires him to do stuff and will dose him with fear toxin. But since Mason is dead and doesn't have biological functions it never works on him. This pisses Scarecrow off and he keeps hiring the kid whenever he gets the chance and giving him stronger and stronger doses. Mason has not realized that Scarecrow isn't actually interested in his ability to repair his costume for him as he keeps hiring him for.

Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn are both somewhat fond of the kid. Ivy being a biologist having spotted the signs that this kid isn't alive and Harley being a psychologist spotted the signs that he's a child abuse survivor and so they occasionally hire him. He designs cool stuff for them to wear when fighting Batman. And has also made a few gifts for their anniversary that Harley gave to Ivy out of upcycled plastic bags that were woven into pots for her babies.

He seems like a walking contradiction at times looking from the outside. He was obviously educated to be upperclass by anyone who's experienced being upperclass. He can move with the grace of someone who has been trained as a ballerina for years. He dresses in a combination of punk and early 2000s emo/scene fashion with an 80s hairdo. He doesn't have any of the entitlement associated with the education they have and is perfectly happy sleeping on the street. Will say insane sounding statements like "Bank accounts as a scam created by the government." Only to go into a speech about red lining, preferential treatment to the rich when it comes to interest rates and the increased cost of poverty if anyone asks him to explain. Followed by him 30 seconds later making the type of impulsive decision that only a 13yo could make. He knows how to manipulate people at a level that is impressive for a teenager but as soon as he stops masking is extremely visibly autistic. Is the happiest kid you'll ever meet but will throw hands without a second thought if you throw the first punch. They are living their best life, they're homeless and the life they lead is one most people would hate. They love music and whenever they have free time will go brusking with their keytar. They have plenty of money in savings and absolutely no plan to stop being homeless anytime soon.

He's a happy ball of contradictions, snark and an adoration for music. He believes himself incapable of loving anyone. Not in a romantic sense(Though that too). Just in general. He believes himself unlovable and incapable of loving others. But he is happy in his life because they have what is most important to them. Freedom, choices to make and an endless sea of possibilities to navigate.

I just had a tooth removed and need to distract myself. So here's more Mason info.

Mason was conscious during his autopsy. Of course Vlad just paid the guy off to pretend Mason didn't get murdered but he still had to get an autopsy to make it look right on paper. By the time the autopsy had started Mason as a ghost had woken back up inside his body. They decided the best course of action was to continue to pretend to be dead and sneak out once the mortician had left.

After the mortician had left Mason took an extra pair of scrubs and the bribery money and snuck out of the morgue. He bought new clothes and a bus ticket out of town with that cash and set up in Gotham afterwards.

He calls this the best thing to ever happen to him. His death and the dissection afterwards. Since it led to them finally leading a life(or rather existence) that they were happy with after 13 years of just trying to wait till their 18th birthday so they could get out of there. They're happy they got to leave 5 years earlier than they originally thought.

They are still having to hide though. Vlad is trying to find their ghost in the ghost zone. Has not yet considered to check earth at all. Nevermind started poking around Gotham
