Dude itâs social media they donât care, theyâre just waiting for you to slip up so they can wait and abuse you.
You're trying to be negative, but I'm already living with my exes, and you can't top that.Â
I donât think Iâve even checked my Instagram and Twitter.
Go, check now. I think you'll be surprised by what you see.Â
Thanks to this show, I now have about 20,000 new followers on Twitter and Instagram. Coool!
'Cos assuming the worst is always more fun.
I think that's the first time I've ever heard someone say that.
A little creepy, but I could just be assuming youâre horrible at it.
Anddd... why would you do that?
Ever consider taking singing lessons? Mâthinking you might need âem. I could be your personal teacher if youâd like.
You've heard me sing? Kind of creepy dude, I only do it in the shower.
Are you like â singing or something?
Definitely.
She's the blade, and you're just paper.
She's the blade and you're just paper You're afraid cause shes got closer You're back-steppin and she's back-stabbing everything in your life She stole everything your heart desired Now you want it back

Aspenâs lips almost quirked into a small smile at the young manâs shocked expression, but she held back by biting her tongue. For a moment she was amused by Aaronâs reply, but not before her eyes flickered with an unidentifiable emotion. Even now, Aspen was still affected by even the mere mention of the words âmomâ or âmotherâ. She still couldnât deal with it, and that irritated her to no end. Still not looking him in the eye, she started playing with the tassels of her hoodie. âYou havenât changed a bit.â She glanced up at him from underneath her eyelashes. âStill stumbling over words around me?â The words came out a lot flirtier than she had intended.
Biting her lip, she inwardly cursed at herself. Whyâd she walk over to him in the first place? God, she was such an idiot. When Aspen had found out about the whole roommate/ex situation, she had every intention of ignoring him for however long they had to be on the island. But the moment she saw him standing there, she couldnât help but gravitate towards him; almost out of routine. Yes, Aaron had been her boyfriend - but he had been her best friend first. And though her heart had been tainted, thereâs still this lingering feeling of loyalty that she felt towards him. Aspen tried to push away those around her, but she wasnât this emotionless wall she appeared to be. Not truthfully anyway. She did care. She cared too much about everything actually, and it was just easier for her if she pushed people away. People left all the time. It wasnât worth it.
Awkwardly scratching at the base of her neck, Aspen searched for the right words to say. She almost contemplated sprinting off the island - prize money or not. âŚBut letâs be real here. It would be pretty awesome to win that $500,000. She sighed as her eyes scanned the scenery before her in search of some kind of saving grace. Clearing her throat, she locked eyes with Aaron. âDid youâŚwant to get something to eat? This heat is appalling.â
With his emerald orbs flickering from between the food stall and Aspen, whom was looking away, Aaron easily noticed the slight change in her emotion, when the 'm' word was brought up. He didn't blame her -- he would probably do the same thing, if anyone else tactlessly said something related to his deceased mother in front of him. But at least, his entire family had time to expect a death from Marie Hawkins. No one had time to prepare for Aspen's mother suddenly disappearing on them. And suddenly, he felt pretty bad, although, he didn't really show it. Aaron arched an eyebrow at Aspen's words, unsure if she meant to be flirty with them or not. Her words and body language did not correlate. "Just surprised," he said bluntly, "didn't expect for us to 'reunite' like this, to be honest."
Why was he the one feeling uncomfortable around her, and not the other way around? He wasn't the one who cheated, he wasn't the one to suddenly change. And still.. here he was, tongue-tied towards the girl he used to talk about everything with. Where was his sense of pride? Aaron sighed a bit, as his feet unconsciously tapped impatiently, waiting for something to happen. He could've easily walked away, easily packed his bags for the next flight out, but the presence of Aspen locked him in place, like it always had. No, he needed to get away, there was no need to be like that anymore. He didn't owe her anything.
Just as he began taking a step towards the hot-dog stand, he caught eye contact with her familiar doe-brown eyes, and they stayed there. ".. I.. there's a hot-dog stand, like.. right there. Unless you wanted something fancier." He had meant to sound more aggressive, but somehow, his voice softened up. "I mean, you're going to be an actress, right? Probably going to grow more used to the high-life." He had heard about her acceptance into some prodigious program from his father, but that was about the only update he got from her life.

@aaronomous: @fuckandymckinnon are you even on the island?
