I don’t know about you guys, but I believe him.
Some pretty key lore reveals about the Shapers’ war tbh - unsurprising, frankly, that the two priestly sundered houses fought with the Shapers, but I have been wondering based on Aranessa and General Davinos’s political leanings re: the Falconer’s Rebellion how united the Sundered Houses ever were. It sounds like they are indeed much less united than I thought, and a lot of politics since the closing of the doors to Faerie have been influenced by House Tachonis having been dominant for the past decade and change. It doesn't sound like the Halovars particularly care for House Tachonis, but they do seem scared of them. I also do think that while specific houses are going after specific institutions there is some driving force behind all via the Chamber of Lords-Advisory; I just think it's probably a more delicate and fragile balance than a unified front. And, of course, the very public elimination of House Royce is going to speed things up even further.
