We did it! 🤍
We were able to reach out initial goal of $1000 for Jourie's (my oldest daughter) prosthetic limb and she walked on her new leg for the very first time this week. This would not have been possible without your support, thank you to each one of us who helped reach this goal.
Our work isn't over yet. This campaign is my way of keeping my precious daughters safe and well-nourished. My daughter needs constant medical creams and treatments, and my husband and I are sick and unable to provide them. Please continue to support us by sharing our story and donating.
My name is Sunny and I am sponsoring this fundraiser on Hanadi's behalf. Please see her story below and share this campaign.
Thank you for your support and concern; it means a lot to us.

MASH s03e18 - House Arrest
fell for the oldest trick in the book 🤦♂️
long time no post! i’m currently in the middle of my annual lotr rewatch and i can just never resist these two <3
Once again, another post i cannot help but just hear them saying this!!!
Gimli being as serious as granite up until Legolas actually puts his hand up to his face, when a smile like shale cracks through and he can’t hold back the laughter as he smacks the elf’s hand into his face.
I never really thought about the long lasting torment of Spock thinking he's killed Jim until reading K'oh-nar by AlexPrime. If you like to see Spock in absolute agony, you should read K'oh-nar.
Emergency! textposts
Recently kind of fell into the Emergency! fandom (Thanks mostly to catching reruns on TV while I'm working. Apparently, between this and MASH, retro medical drama/comedies from the '70s make for great background noise when cleaning hospital rooms, lol)
So, I thought it'd be kind of fun to make a few (which turned into way too many) textpost memes. Not sure if these have been done before, and if they have, I apologize.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy!
If you see this on your dashboard, reblog this, NO MATTER WHAT and all your dreams and wishes will come true.
Oh hey! Haven’t seen this in forever! Didn’t reblog it when it came across me before, not gonna skip it this time, I need some good vibes.

Kurt Vonnegut wrote: “When I was 15, I spent a month working on an archeological dig. I was talking to one of the archeologists one day during our lunch break and he asked those kinds of “getting to know you” questions you ask young people: Do you play sports? What’s your favorite subject? And I told him, no I don’t play any sports. I do theater, I’m in choir, I play the violin and piano, I used to take art classes.
And he went WOW. That’s amazing! And I said, “Oh no, but I’m not any good at ANY of them.”
And he said something then that I will never forget and which absolutely blew my mind because no one had ever said anything like it to me before: “I don’t think being good at things is the point of doing them. I think you’ve got all these wonderful experiences with different skills, and that all teaches you things and makes you an interesting person, no matter how well you do them.”
And that honestly changed my life. Because I went from a failure, someone who hadn’t been talented enough at anything to excel, to someone who did things because I enjoyed them. I had been raised in such an achievement-oriented environment, so inundated with the myth of Talent, that I thought it was only worth doing things if you could “Win” at them.
