I think being anti-AI means taking time on small creators. It means slowing down to read flawed fics and admire imperfect art. It means liking, commenting, and showing appreciation to humans who are still learning their craft. It means taking chances on original works, rarepairs, and fics with no kudos. Encouragement means nothing to AI. But to humans, to us, it’s everything. AI succeeds when we fail to take care of our growing human creators.

okay people you know those fuckass ads that open up a "download this app" window that you then have to click out of to continue with your day? I'm over it. Let's do a thing.

click the three dots. select "report this ad". select "malicious ad" as the reason (because taking somebody without their consent to a secondary location is typically regarded as a hostile act!)

if enough of us do this maybe we can waste enough of tumblr's resources that they'll decide that this form of ad is more trouble than it's worth.
