Yeah...Joseph Smith interpreted what we now know is Min the fertility god as being Elohim (god the father) on his throne, making the signs of the priesthood. I guess a throbbing boner counts? Nailed it, Joe.

Can’t argue with that logic.
The patient went on to make a full recovery. And the operation and rehabilitation worked because some people prayed that it would. Obviously.
TOTALLY WORTH IT
“Hey, at least I don’t have blue eyes in this painting. That’s...better than they usually do.”
Not today, apologists.
That’s a wrap on my pointless, self-imposed task of making daily posts during “holy week”. Back to weekly #mememonday tomorrow, with bonuses whenever I feel like it.
...except in mormonism. Then you get shit like this: https://youtu.be/CC3WBI5cxb8
Is this a repost? Almost. It has come to my attention that at least one person was so annoyed with my watermark being up so high that they made copies without it.
So this is for you, /u/Gileriodekel. Peace.
It took me a long time to accept this, but the question of whether Jesus of Nazareth was {a historical person, a composite character from multiple sources, or a complete fabrication}...just doesn’t actually matter. Because whatever happened, it didn’t involve any of the supernatural claims that the books and the religions make about him. The contradictory messages attributed to the man earn about a C+ in my book, unless we’re just picking and choosing and I can keep the “basic kindness” and “anti-authoritarian, anti-establishment” cool stuff while rejecting the divisiveness, (semi-”benevolent”) Judaic Supremacism, zealotry, and violence. But as they sometimes say about mormonism in particular: “What’s good in [Jesus’ message] isn’t unique, and what’s unique in [Jesus’ message] isn’t good.”
Seriously, Jesus, your message has been all over the place lately. I think we’d all benefit from some clarifications.
One message that doesn’t confuse or upset at all is the #PRINCEofPEEPS social media campaign. Share it, live it, love it, etc. I just hope I’m around when he miraculously multiplies the Peeps.
Whoops, I forgot to do one of these yesterday. Probably because I don’t care about Jesus. Sorry, Jesus. I’ll try to make it up to him by continuing to push his #PRINCEofPEEPS social media campaign. Share it, live it, love it, etc.
Holy Tuesday is even more uneventful than Holy Monday. Holy Wednesday will be a little more exciting, and then the days start to get designations other than ‘holy’, which is also a good sign.
Don’t forget to spread the good news of the #PRINCEofPEEPS social media campaign!
Supposedly Jesus smote a fig tree with his Jedi powers on Holy Monday. Not much else appears to have happened that day, which makes me wonder how long he spent standing in front of the tree trying to glare it to death. Don’t forget to spread the good news of the #PRINCEofPEEPS social media campaign!
The one social media campaign that matters this Easter: #PrinceOfPeeps.
The mind’s immune system
Your mind wants to help you survive, but it can make mistakes and get hijacked —and religion is one of the worst kinds of parasite that want to exploit and control you.
