It's ok to be scared when you're taking a leap in life. Do it scared. Do it shaking. You're courageous for trying something new.
Small ways to show up for Yourself
you don't always need the grand gestures like a self care routine or yoga to take care of yourself. showing up for yourself means taking the little steps to care and check in with you rather than just others. that can look like;
₊˚⊹ letting yourself rest when your body asks for it
₊˚⊹ letting yourself change your mind
₊˚⊹ speaking to yourself kindly, even when you mess up
₊˚⊹ choosing sleep over scrolling
₊˚⊹ giving yourself the same patience you give others
₊˚⊹ creating boundaries around your time
₊˚⊹ letting some messages wait
₊˚⊹ stepping outside for fresh air
₊˚⊹ letting yourself be a "work in progress"

the worst part about ocd and ocd-like tendencies is that you think hyper-analyzing your thoughts and constantly psychoanalyzing yourself will fix you but that's actually part of the disorder. it's the disorder. disordering.
You're going to look back one day and be so proud of yourself. You are overcoming so much, even if it doesn't feel like it. Your future self is rooting for you.
maybe growing up is just becoming who you were at 14 again but learning how to love her this time
Once you stop trying to entertain this imaginary audience and start living for yourself things should get a bit better
it literally all starts with forgiving yourself there’s no way around it
don’t delay your healing by keeping tabs on them. live your life. let them live theirs. let yourself move on, and don’t waste your energy on them.
shoutout to the people who for the longest time didn’t see a future and thought their lives would be over by now. you made it. you’re still going. i know it’s hard building a future you weren’t prepared for, but i believe in you. you’re a survivor.

forgive the version of yourself that knew better but did it anyway. forgive every version of yourself. we are constantly learning from our mistakes.
reach out! Try! try! try again! love. share your life with others. adopt love as a state of being- that requires no reciprocation . make mistakes, be embarrassed, burn bridges! but also create. create relationships. express your love to people. create happiness. love others. experience love. it’s okay to love I would say. It’s also our choice !
