New project time:

Recreating the Focus from scratch. Using my mediocre 3d modelling skills (basically using Fusion 360 for something it wasn't designed for)

And then my wacky approach to misusing my scale modelling tools.

When I get the time, I'll see if I can share the files so other people can benefit from my pain work

The weathering process was just muttering "trust the process" repeatedly whilst paint fumes pickled my brain.

It really is just a goofy hat. And why does it have warning triangles on it? At least it's not as wacky as some of the other headgear (Banuk outfits, I'm looking at you...)

Learn a new skill. Learn to write for fun, or draw for pleasure. It will be shit at first, but there is a satisfaction at getting better at something.

Using GenAI to draw fan art or write fan fiction is inherently lazy. Arguing it makes things accessible isn't an argument. Tasks that require skill are allowed to be inherently difficult. How boring would life be if everything did not have some level of challenge?

Life, and the creative arts is mostly about the journey. Not the destination.

Embrace the hardship that comes from learning how to draw faces, or write emotional dialogue.

I started with another drawing, but I didn't like the result. It looked boring. So I started another one. I'm in love with the Tenakth body paint and I think Seyka would also look very hot with it!

Aloy decided to paint her body as well. Buuuut I think they got a little distracted and she couldn't finish painting Seyka's body 😏 who could blame her? I think we all know where this led!

I like that style and I'm obsessed with Aloy's hair. Still practising with tons of references.
