when you think about it teenagers of the next generation will never get to experience a cw show with 7+ seasons and 22 episodes per season. they will never know what it's like to be insanely obsessed with a mediocre show with mediocre writing and mediocre acting (with one really good actor carrying the show on their backs). they will never know the feeling of fighting weekly in the trenches for your ship only for the writers to screw you over. they will never be so increasingly disappointed by the worsening writing choices as the seasons progress and they will never know what it's like to watch the worst series finale after investing years into a show. and that is the biggest tragedy.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer 1.08 — I Robot, You Jane..
Will you forget me forever? You wont remember me.
Things we did together, how we shared everything together.
What i like, when you see my favourite quote, you wont remember me.
When you listen to Rabindra sangeet, or see a pretty flower. You wont remember me.
When someone might mention bts or V. Wont you remember me.
Will you forget my birthday and will no longer wish me on my birthday. When you read psychology related stuffs will you not remember me.
When you drink variety tea, wont you remember me.
When you will be buying flowers for someone else. Wont you remember making one for me.
When someone would mention basanti pulso or makhana, wont you remember me.
If you ever go to Rekhta, if you go to Flower show in delhi. Wobt you remember me.
Everything will be erased out? I don't want you to fade from my life. I don't know what to do with this life anymore.
Because everytime i turn around i see you.
I see you in my room. I see you in my gallery. I see you in my movement.
I see you in spotify list. I see you in my insta feed. I see you in my dreams.
I see you in thr cup i drink from, the stuff toy i sleep with, the book in my table. The usual bracelet i wear and flowers adoring my table.
The flowers i see on my way to hospital. I see you everywhere. And i cannot describe how painful, i feel lik i would die from being this way.
I remember you when i hear the word gariyana, i remember you in dal bhat chokha and oranges remind me of you. I remember you.
I remember you.
I remember you.
Will you remember me too?

"On the last day of autumn, before the first frost, find the Elder Oak on the island in the saltless sea, and offer up your most prized treasure. If your offering is accepted, your deepest wish will be granted. But if your offering is rejected, your skin will turn to bark and your limbs will harden to wood." Inspired by a walk through the woods in my new backyard in Sweden! The oak trees here are very different from the ones I'm used to in California and I'm constantly mesmerized by the beautiful twisting branches~
If you're lamenting the fact that you used to be able to shoot through a 500-page novel in like a day when you were in middle school and now you can't, it's worth bearing in mind that a big part of that is because when you were in middle school, your reading comprehension sucked. Yes, mental health and the stresses of adult life can definitely be factors, but it's also the case that reading is typically more effortful as an adult because you've learned to Ponder The Implications. The material isn't just skimming over the surface of your brain anymore, and some of the spoons you used to spend on maximising your daily page count are now spent on actually thinking about what you're reading!

Let me lose in the poetry, let me lose in the art, let me lose in the music, let me lose in the sky, the words and art are what bound my heart and soul, let me lose in the magic, let me lose in my mind, even if it for a moment, let me live in the world I desire, with the people I love. This world is too cruel, too harsh and too realistic. Let me live the happiness I pray for and happy endings i crave for.
you are not meant to go a day without poetry

(from nyt’s modern love column)
I realised to be authentic in your 20s means to include elements that made you happy when you were really small, mix them with the new interests you got as a teenager, and everything decorated with your current perspective about the world
