There was a moment from this that Kaleb thought of Jessica but as the kiss grew deeper it was like the tension was finally broken from them. That wanted need to do something from so long before finally happening. The moment they pulled away made him want to go back for more as he felt Accalia pulling him closer. Making it seem they couldn’t keep themselves off each other. Laughing from her statement as she tugged him back and ensuring another kiss in the process. His body wanting more and more of her.
She’d never been one to refuse her carnal desires before and she wasn’t about to start now. Especially with the man that was currently kissing her. Accalia knew that even as Kaleb eagerly kissed her back some part of him was guiltily thinking of Jessica, she made it her priority for him to start thinking of her and only her. At least for now. The brunette pulled away and licked her swollen lips lightly. “Unless you want to cause public indecency then I suggest we better get ourselves inside.”
If he were to kiss Accalia, he would feel that Jessica would hate him. But at the same time she wasn’t here anymore and wouldn’t care. She was dead and this was happening right here and now. So Kaleb decided the ladder, bringing his lips along with Accalia’s and feeling a surge of energy. Quickly he brought his hands to cup her neck to deepen in and stay within this moment before pulling back to whisper. “And how old are you now?”
Their lips crashed together and the brunette grinned underneath his lips. There was a brief moment of guilt upon remembering about Jessica, but Accalia always thought they were never a good fit, plus the kiss was long overdue. And in the end, wasn’t this just to rid of the tension? A delicate frown appeared in the center of her eyebrows as he pulled away, his taste was addicting. “Who cares?” Accalia shot back with a roll of her eyes before pulling him towards her by the collar of his wet shirt.
Asher wanted to spend time with Accalia, just like old times. It was definitely strange seeing her in Denver after so many years but it was nice to see a familiar face around the city. A lot had happened over the years and needless to say, Asher had turned into an entirely new person. He wasn’t the young boy who Accalia knew and he was sure that she wasn’t the same girl that he knew either. However, that didn’t mean that he didn’t want to relive those days. They were the best of times, simpler, despite the shit that when on even then.
Recently, a museum in Denver had closed down and it was the perfect opportunity for them to scope the place out. So, after parking his car up a few blocks down as to not raise any suspicion, Asher closed the door and walked along side Accalia towards the abandoned building’s back entrance. Who could have been stupid enough to leave a window open? It was just asking for thieves to get their hands dirty - not that Asher was in the business of stealing but that was besides the point. “You want me to give you a boost?” Asher asked as he turned his attention back to the girl beside him. Not that he thought differently before but the years had certainly been good to her. She was gorgeous, that much he couldn’t deny, even if he didn’t voice it. “You could get in through the window and open the back door?” He suggested, excited to begin their adventure into uncharted territories.
Upon preparing for her night out with Asher, Accalia had to cancel the fight she had scheduled that evening, which Big Mike didn’t take kindly. But his tongue lash had been worth it, because she was going to spend time with one of her most treasured people. It wasn’t hard finding out what to wear since most of her clothes consisted of one sole color: black. Her whole body was lose with excitement and adrenaline, but it was the good kind. The other times she felt the same were when she prepared for a fight and underneath those emotions lay an uncontrollable fury that made her scared of herself, ergo bad kind.
But being with Asher made her feel younger, responsibilities slipping away with the bad memories that were attached to adulthood. Plus, it was so easy to be around him, she didn’t have to worry about anything with him because he knew it all. Almost. Accalia looked back at Asher with a challenging grin. “Please. I’ve got some new moves, buddy.” She remarked at him before maneuvering her body in a way that got her through the window. Landing with light footsteps she silently thanked her dad for the training, before going over to where the back door was located. The brunette unlocked, opened and leaned against the door with raised eyebrows, the smug look on her face evident. “What would you do without me?” She asked in jest, but truthfully Accalia thought the opposite was impossible. She couldn’t be without him.
“Yea, sure you were only thinking of the circulation and not the shrinking feeling” Kaleb spat back as he following her, having to move through some of the people. Apologizing as he went through a couple. As he caught up to Accalia who had dropped her keys, Kaleb picked her up and spun her away from the door. Then bringing her to the wall of the hall way next to the door. “I win!” Kaleb laughed as his eyes locked with Accalia’s for the longest minute. The debate in his head to kiss her or not was strong. No one was stopping him, but his guilty conscience.
Accalia squealed as she felt arms wrapping around her then proceeded to lift her off the ground. Once her feet were touching soil yet again, she leaned back against the wall recovering her breath. Molasses gaze drifted to the man before her as she wondered what could be running through his mind. “Name your prize.” She murmured back at him, lowly and softly as to not disrupt the mood they currently found themselves in. Accalia studied him intently with a focused gaze, and after a few beats she couldn’t help but send him a small smirk. “Would you just kiss me already, I’m getting old.”
Elsa listened with interest, so far she was enjoying what the girl had to say. But with the car talk as an ice breaker rather than normal small talk had the blonde more willing to continue to talk. “Moved to Denver about 8 years ago and haven’t left. Moved from Florida.”
“So you know your way around then.” Accalia answered back. “Oh! I was in Florida too for some time actually. Maybe we bumped into each other and we didn’t even know it.” The brunette said in jest.
Kaleb knew where she was getting at and was thinking it was a trap as she tugged him closer by his pants. Which didn’t help him at all from thinking other than sex. Accalia was a beautiful woman and if they could, they would’ve been a great match but Kaleb went for Jessica. When he felt the water from the sponge release and touch his lower section he covered his groin. “Shit! You know that doesn’t help at all” Kaleb shouted out as she ran away. “That’s it, you are so on” Straightening up as he ran after Accalia.
“I just thought a good cold shower would help you. You know with the circulation of the body and all.” Accalia called back at him as her muscular legs ran through the small passage that connected the parking lot to the building. “Shit. Excuse me. Sorry.” The brunette muttered to the people that sadly went in her way. She moved her body fluidly between them, and reached her apartment door fairly easy. Hurriedly getting out her keys out of her back pocket, in between all of the commotion she dropped them. “Fuck no.” Accalia bent down to pick them up but it was too late, Kaleb had already caught up to her.
“Exactly,” Elsa agreed. “Well welcome to Queens thens.” The girl smiled. “So new to Denver or just to the building?”
“Thanks, doll.” The brunette chirped back with a grin. “Both actually. My biggest dream is to travel all fifty states, and then Hawaii. And lastly, Puerto Rico.” Accalia lied, hiding the true reason for her constant traveling. “What about you?”
Katherine laughed at the other girl’s word, “Thank you, that is certainly something really nice to hear,” Katherine said with a smile, “And yeah nice to meet you as well. Here as in the building?” She pointed the building before nodded, “I am. I’m on the fifth floor.”
“Oh I meant as in Denver, I’ve actually seen you around a couple of times to know you’re living in Queens as well.” Accalia replied back with an easy smile. “It’s nice to know I have a really good-looking and friendly neighbor. “I’m on the third floor actually.”
“He had his moments at least.” Asher teased. he couldn’t even defend his friend at this point, as he thought back to the way things were back in school. Harry was his friend and he loved him dearly but he certainly wasn’t the brightest of their little pack. He was the more sensible of the group, the one that kept everyone in check, it was no wonder that he and Accalia didn’t always see eye to eye. Just seeing the girl again, things came flooding back to the surface. In school, they always had chemistry but interestingly, the pair never acted upon it. Perhaps it was because Asher was in a relationship by the time he was sixteen or seventeen years old but even then there were fleeting eyes and unspoken conversations that never seemed to push pass his lips. In a way, it might have been good for both of them that Accalia left town before things got too much - but Asher ended up screwing up his relationship in the end, anyway in the form of revenge. Even now, Asher wondered what the girl before him was thinking. Was she thinking back to those times when they were still such kids? Or had he changed in her eyes? Did he want to break that invisible barrier that the pair had built up with one another or was this something that was always going to occur? Just a smirk, flirtatious comments and pretending that they didn’t actually have any affect on one another. It was tension, lustful at the most. Through all these thoughts, Asher eventually let out a hum and nodded his head, knowingly, but said nothing more than that. As he straightened up again, a mischievous glint was playing in Asher’s eyes, “I see.” He answered, another one of his award winning smiles tugging on his lips again. This was probably not going to turn out to be a conversation that harboured all the answers. Things were going to remain a mystery for a little while. Only time would tell if their friendship would remain just that or if something more were to come from it. It wasn’t something that they’d ever discussed or pushed the boundaries of - were they going to cross that line? So far, it had always been just a game between himself and Accalia. He didn’t know if this game was going to be pushed to its limits. as cliché as the phrase was, it applied so much but what could he say? All he could do was shake his head in fake disapproval. Asher wondered what Accalia’s father would say to that - what his mother would say to it… It was no secret that they didn’t particularly care or approve of their friendship, if they were to learn of them even seeing each other again, Asher knew there would be problems. But things were different now. They were adults… He could make his own decisions and it wasn’t like his parents had any fucking control over him in the past anyway. “Excuse me, my kissing skills were on point back then.” He insisted in jest though really, who was a good kisser back then? You just followed what you saw on TV until one of your good friends taught you otherwise. “Rach and I didn’t exactly end on the best of times, we didn’t talk for a long time so I think she thought it would just bring the fire back. It’s cool though, we’re friends so it’s fine.” Asher assured before straightening up again. He pursed his lips together again in consideration, “Well, I cook. I could make us some dinner if you want or if you wanna relive some old times…. I saw a museum downtown that’s just been closed down… We could go check it out, if you want.” He suggested, “We could hold off the food till the end of summer.” He nodded.
I saw a museum downtown that’s just been closed down. It was amazing how a simple sentence could hold so much emotions and memories. The exhilaration of running away, the adrenaline in breaking in, and the wandering inside empty buildings that held an abundance of secrets they’ll never be apart of. In Accalia’s eyes those were the good times, she has lied to herself all these years thinking that living her life on the wild side while following her father’s murderer was as great as it was going to get. But she was wrong. She had already achieved the highest peak in her life and it was mostly due to the person in front of her. Asher. Accalia had never expected for them to run into each other again, she had mostly determined him as her ‘what-if’ in high school. Of course at the time he had been taken and for the most part, she had respected that, but then there was the subtle flirtation that drove her crazy. At the end of the day he had someone to fall back to, but she had no one at the time, so she went to bed imagining all kinds of different scenarios. But the reality of her life never appeared in her imagination. It had been a great jump for her to go from grieving to revenge seeking daughter, as a matter of fact she didn’t really give herself enough time to mourn her father’s death. It had been a small memorial service and funeral (her dad had wanted to be buried in the city where he was born and raised, Chicago), and just merely the next day she was already trailing Viper. Her skin and bones never quite felt the same, as if she was merely putting on a show for everybody. But now with Asher, in that moment, she was able to be herself again. Accalia wondered what was going through his head, because hers was filled with all sorts of madness. The different scenarios she’d imagined in the past were all flooding back vibrantly and in full HD. It was hard to say no to a person who made her feel at home, but she needed to step with precaution. Things could go wrong, because when haven’t they? Would it be ideal for them to risk such a precious friendship for carnal desire? Can they go back to being their teasing selves after they’ve been intimate with one another? She had never been good with feelings, a trait her father had passed down unfortunately. She was never good at expressing herself correctly, or in other cases, she just simply ran. Was she strong enough to run from Asher? “Oh. I didn’t know that. Well, I’m glad everything’s cool now.” Accalia answered back breezily. It seemed that she had missed some important events, which she greatly lamented. “Are you kidding?! Of course I want to check it out! It’ll be like old times.” And how incredible were those times together. But, she reminded herself again, step with precaution. It was a gamble to get close to Asher again, considering her nightly pastime which left her with a consistent bullseye in her back. That was one of the reasons why she didn’t let herself get close enough to people. It was dangerous. Accalia had long ago lost the conscious to care for her life, just as long as she got to kill Viper she was fine, but she didn’t want to drag other people into it, even less Asher. Accalia wasn’t sure what it would do to her if her long time friend was hurt because of her. “You just tell me when and I’m all yours.” But maybe just a taste wouldn’t hurt. After all, the girl had always been reckless with decisions and careless with rules. She wasn’t aware that some rules were placed for a reason.
“Well shit, you’re brutal.” Asher teased, unable to stop himself from laughing uncontrollably along with her. It was a pretty hilarious thought to consider Accalia with his old friend, the pair were certainly not a match made in heaven and honestly, Asher was sure that Accalia could eat Harry alive. “You two never did get a long well, did you?” He asked with a sly smirk on his lips. He couldn’t remember entirely, he just remembered one party in particular back in school that had the two arguing but perhaps that was just a one off. The proposal that the brunette shot his way made Asher raise his brows at her, tilting his head a fraction as a smirk grew on his lips, “You don’t know what you’re asking, babe.” He teased, sinking his teeth into his bottom lip at the thought. It was probably bad that in this moment, Accalia was in her bathing suit too, it was hard to ignore but he kept his eyes up and on her face, “I’m not sure if me and you would be the best of combinations… Most you’ve gotten from me is a fourteen year old game of Spin the bottle, careful what you wish for.” Asher said in jest before nodding his head, “Yeah, weird right? They didn’t even tell me, thought that I’d get super pissed or something but I found out when I went to visit.” The past was something they both remembered and Asher remembered having fun with Accalia. They were partners in crime, troubled teens with troubled parents but at least they were able to make the most of things. “I still have fun, but I’ve missed having fun with you.” He admitted, bending down then to give some love and attention to his dog, “What are you doing later, we should catch up properly.” He suggested. “Lets just say they got away at a good time.” The young man said vaguely. Of course, Asher was going to speak of his parents but for now, it was better to keep this conversation light and not so depressing. He nodded his head, “Yeah! I mean, it’s not open just yet, I’m still working on the decor and so forth but I’m hoping I’ll have it done by the end of the summer.”
“I’m just being realistic. You said so yourself he was never too bright.” Accalia replied with a playful roll of her eyes and a small laugh. “It wasn’t that we didn’t get along, we just had different views on things.” The brunette defended herself. But truth of the matter was that even when she was young Accalia was strong on her ideals and opinions. And the teenager was prone to have a debate with anyone that opposed them, (her father endlessly teased her that if she became a lawyer, she’d never lose a case), which was usually sweet Harry. Poor guy, she thought to herself with a shrug. Asher’s teasing words had her looking over at him, which was a bad idea considering the way he was biting his bottom lip. Her gaze lowered down to his lips momentarily forgetting all about decency. “I think I know exactly what I’m asking.” She murmured back at him, pink tongue darting out to lick her suddenly dry lips. Accalia couldn’t help the chuckle that passed her lips at his teasing. “That is true, but there’s also this phrase that people say frequently and it goes something along the lines of ‘it’s so wrong but it feels so right’. Is that how it goes?” She retaliated back at him with a smirk of her own. “And yikes, don’t mention our Spin the Bottle kiss, ‘cause that wasn’t your finest moment.” Accalia teased at him while pulling a face. “Why would you get mad at them? We’re all grown adults now.” She remembered their friends clearly and was still amazed at how they coupled up together. If someone would have told her that fact other than Asher, she would have most likely considered it a lie. At his words, the perverted female bit her tongue at all the innuendos that suddenly rose from the gutter where she kept her mind in. A million images flashed across her mind at the word ‘fun’, none of them PG. She tried to keep her face neutral but her cheeks flushed the smallest bit. “I’m sure you do, I’m one hell of a partner. No one like me, I can guarantee you that.” Did she mean that both ways? Possibly, but it wasn’t intentional. “I’ll have to check my busy calendar but...I’m always free for you.” Accalia grinned brightly at him. “What did you have in mind?” At his added words she nodded, she figured later on they could have a proper sit down and fill each other on what they missed. She trusted Asher enough with her own dark secrets, she only hoped he wouldn’t run away after she spilled them. “Oh but I still want to see it, even if it’s just in the making. By the end of summer?” Accalia hoped she was still in Denver by that time. “I can’t wait!”
“I will try to remember that.” Elsa said politely. “The Pink Ladies are everything. They are badass and know what they want plus they don’t let society change who they are.” Elsa agreed with a smile. “I’m Elsa by the way,” she said to the girl.
“They are amazing, and make better role models than whatever is considered a role model now.” Accalia answered back with a wave of her hand and a grin. “Nice to meet you Elsa, I’m Accalia, I just moved in.”
“Oh you’re too hot for it? I mean I have to agree that you’re pretty attractive but I wouldn’t mind seeing you wash a car on the television. “Alex told her with a smirk. He liked the way he used his words as it made it seem as if he would love to see her star in a porn movie. “I just wanted to offer my help cause it seems like you could need it.” He told her and started taking of his jacket. He draped it over a bench nearby and rubbed in his hands as he walked over to her wearing a gray v neck tshirt and his usual black ripped jeans. “I’m Alex.” He said and took a rag out of the bucket with water.
“Oh I know you wouldn’t. But then the satisfaction of seeing the real deal in person would fade away. It’s like the SADD syndrome.” Accalia responded to him, referring to the new sexual disorder discovered in people who became addicted to internet porn. She was prone to absorb little random facts of information in her brain. “Well I don’t really need it. I’ve cleaned my car for about a million times now. But I’m never one to reject an offering hand.” The brunette retaliated back at him as she kept doing circular movements with her sponge. “Nice to meet ya’ Alex, I’m Accalia and I just moved in.”
but only the d a r k e s t light can deliver my soul
Accalia walked into the abandoned warehouse with purpose. She had finally gotten in touch with Johny who gave her the address of where the fighting pits were located, and now she had finally arrived. Walking into the decaying building she was dressed in all black leather, her favorite, with her gym bag hanging from one shoulder. There was a big crowd around the ring and from her point of view it didn’t look empty. The petite made her way amongst the crowd to the guy who called himself ‘Big Mike’.
The guy gave her a once over before turning back to watching the match. She rolled her eyes and said, “I’m the Wolf’s daughter.” Her father, Sirius, had been more than happy when his fans started calling him Wolf because of his name. Accalia always thought it was because it made him feel more powerful, like a real alpha dog. At her words Big Mike immediately turned back towards her and gave her grin. “Accalia, baby you’re finally here! Come this way girl.” She gave him a tight-lipped smile before following him into a door that was blocked by bulky men. The bodyguards gave them entrance and both Big Mike and Accalia walked through the long corridors filled with rooms that were full of street fighters. Some doors were closed but the ones that were confidently opened; the brunette took a look inside and scoped the possible competition. Finally arriving at a vacant room, Big Mike gestured to it, “Here you go, princess. Your fight is in an hour, get ready.”
Over the years Accalia had perfected her ‘getting ready’ routine. It consisted of her listening to dance music while she stretched and did cardio. Then she proceeded to do some yoga, for flexibility and calming herself. And she ended it, with practicing some moves with the help of her friend Johny. After her routine was done, the fighter was ready to win some matches. Having one of the best street fighters as your father definitely had its advantages, and Accalia was overly confident in them. Of course she had a right to be as well, since she had yet to lose a match.
When it finally came time for her fight, Big Mike knocked on her door, and Accalia changed into a more comfortable outfit. Her knuckles were wrapped in cotton boxing wrap and underneath them, her fingers were decorated with rings. It was an antique technique her dad had taught her, it gave her more edge since the men she fought were obviously stronger than her. But they didn’t have her skills. Or her talent.
Walking out of the room and into the corridor the other fighters stared at her, she was the only female fighter they had seen, plus her reputation preceded her. At the end of the corridor Big Mike had left the door open for her and as she made her way to the ring, Accalia heard him from the speakers. “And out comes the one and only daughter of the Alpha Wolf, the goddess of discord herself, Eris!” A long time ago she had chosen to fight with her middle name instead of her first, it was more dramatic. She got into the ring and finally saw her opponent. He was about the same height as her but twice as big.
The fighter started to analyze him internally. He had plentiful of muscle in him, which meant she needed to be on the defensive, lest one of his punches knocked her out. He had a good stance but he was favoring his left side rather than his right, which meant he was a leftie. That added points to her favor. As they started to circle each other, she noticed a scar on his left kneecap, which she would guess it meant he had surgery, therefore a weak spot. Perfect. Accalia settled on using her flexibility and quickness against his strength.
The male made the first move as he lunged at her with a meaty fist and she ducked out of his way and elbowed his left ear, hard. He angrily put his hand over it as he stumbled. What people forgot about ears is that not only did they provide hearing, but balance too. As he turned around to face her he tried to tackle her, but once again the petite proved to be much faster. In retaliation, Accalia kicked the back of his left kneecap and watched happily as he went down. She grinned wickedly and straddled his waist;
the fight was over before it had even truly begun.
While throwing away her bloodied wraps, Big Mike went over to her and handed her well-deserved money. “You did good, kid. Didn’t think you had it in you. They say he’s going to need thirty stitches, and that’s just on his face. You’re daddy would be proud.” At the mention of her dad, she clenched her jaw and looked at him coldly. “I was thinking you could help me out with something.” She started saying to him off-handedly. “I’m looking for this guy called Viper, you ever heard of him?” Accalia looked closely at the expression on Big Mike’s face and saw the genuine confusion. “Can’t say I’ve had the pleasure. You want me to ask around?” She sighed disappointedly and shook her head. “Nah, thanks. I’ll see you next week, Big Mike.”
Viper was the man that had killed her father, and rumor was, that he was in Denver. And Accalia was more than ready to finally kill him, confront him.
“Well studies show I do have a dick. It works just fine” Kaleb replied, only to counteract her chicks before dicks comment. Maybe it was more of a joke to him but it was funny at the time as he rolled his eyes playfully at Accalia. His shirt was drenched and yet he hadn’t taken it off yet as she stepped closer. The gap between them only centimeters apart as he gazed at Accalia. “I’m not saying anything about you being naked..” He said falling into her trap.
Accalia grinned wickedly as he fell into her trap. “Oh come on, tell me you haven’t thought about it. Tell me and I’ll back off for good.” She said before reaching towards his pants. Pulling at the hem, she then squeezed the excess water, the sponge had, into them. “Oops.” The brunette said with a shrug before she started to run towards the apartment complex. “Catch me if you can, loser.” She called out with a laugh.
Biting his tongue in between his teeth, he let out a small chuckle with Accalia’s motion to keep quiet of whatever was said about him. “Really? This is like a girls before bros sort of thing? That’s unfair” Kaleb pouted before he had sprayed her with water. It was just his way of getting back since Accalia wasn’t talking. Thus starting the fight where she throw a bucket at him, making his white shirt wet against his skin and showing the ripped body of the tech. “Oh, you like me all wet? I think this is just you trying to get me shirtless” Kaleb said as he took the sponge and went up to squeeze on Accalia’s chest while laughing the whole time.
Accalia couldn’t help but let her eyes wander down at the body that was beautifully displayed in front of her. After all, it wasn’t a crime to stare. “More like chicks before dicks.” She playfully said before yelling once again as he poured water down her front. “Oh yeah? Look who’s talking!” The brunette suddenly came up with a mischievous plan. She hid her own sponge behind her as she stepped closer to Kaleb, their bodies only mere centimeters apart. As she looked up at him through her eyelashes, she acted coy. “You know if you wanted me to be naked, you could’ve just asked.” Accalia whispered seductively, hiding the fact she was going to use his distraction to further drench him in water.
