what really fucks me up w the mikes is like. they had the cleanest possible exit if they really didnt want to deal with tenna. they quit in chapter 3 with everyone else. they couldve moved to castletown and pretended not to know anything about mike. if their actual reasoning for being mike was "tenna stresses us when mike isnt there" then they couldve just not worked for the studio because again, they already quit. everyones contracts were voided.

but they went back without question.

I was reminded of this post and now that chapter 5 is out and we have even more if a view into it it continues till drive me more and more insane that people think Battat is some innocent employee who does this out of the goodness of his heart. Which sucks! Because Battats asshole nature is one of his best features! And Battenna being about a tragic lack of communication and lying is the whole point!!

Battat didn’t threaten to quit out of some sort of statement, he didn’t threaten to quit because he genuinely wants to quit- one of the running gags is he constantly lies about hating taking care of Tenna!

He likes being Mike so much, that he gets legitimately defensive over the title before realizing hes ruining his facade!

Battat genuinely WANTS to work for Tenna like this, he enjoys it. But theres another part, and I know thisll piss people off: he likes having total control.

so when things don't go his way, when even Tenna doesn't agree with his view on the role:

"No no no, he's doing that because Tenna yelled at him for talking back while out of costume! You can see- he said he's doing that because he treats people like trash!" You wanna know who else does that?

If that's his point, he's kind of a hypocrite...? I think maybe the only time I've ever seen him say something nice was when he called Tenna his pal. Other than that, he's entirely just kind of an asshole. Which I like! I love this about his character! But he's not being righteous by "taking a stand" against Tenna! He's not doing it for any actual reason he says!

Tenna was rude to him out of costume, then referred to Pluey by the name he likes, then specifically asked for Pluey instead of him(who he thinks is the best Mike and wants most control over the role), so Battat threatened to quit- something he KNOWS will freak Tenna out. Something he KNOWS will hurt him. He even seems to show remorse for it!

I think the characterization of Battat being some union leader that wants to quit his job is entirely inaccurate- especially to his character. He throws his fellow employees under the bus the second he gets the chance to. He insults them repeatedly. He RESIGNED A CONTRACT EARLIER THAT DAY TO WORK FOR TENNA AGAIN- He doesn't want to actually quit!

If Battat(or any of the Mikes) actually wanted to quit, they would have!

I would just love you both to know that Dandy as a character has given me the courage to take my cane out again.

My disability aids were always the one thing I’ve been embarrassed to take out in public, and seeing Dandy be confident with his and seeing no one actively point it out or try to ‘fix’ him speaks wonders.

I’ve felt more confident to take up space and help my own body.

Thank you for writing some fantastic disability representations in your work. 💜💜

Here's some funny shenanigans with Dandy's cane!

- Dandy can't look away for a second or Toodles will cover their cane in stickers 😂

- Dandy likes to use the cane to tap out beats during meetings or conversations! It became subconscious after a while

- At one point dandy accidentally put its cane into one of Dyle's chain links without realizing, got caught up in a conversation, and dyle got yanked so hard he fell into several boxes he was trying to bring in

- Pebble brings the cane over to Dandy in the mornings, like how he brought Boris his clothes!

- Dandy's a lil short, so the cane also helps with reaching and knocking things over to himself when no one is around to help! Dandy also uses it as a way to help point out things on boards like to-do lists, chores or in a perfect world, teaching!

Man the chapter 7 gaster fight is so freaky. tricky tony you've done it again

wanted to make a mock-up of what i think a hypothetical gaster fight would look like in deltarune. i think it would be really neat if he was literally in an entirely different medium to kris and the rest of the gang, hence kris' half of the fight being on a crt screen. i think it would also be neat if gaster was portrayed in live action, but like really distorted and fucked up kind of like toby fox's face in the omega flowey fight in undertale. also the image on the crt is an edited screenshot of the first spamton fight (spamton was edited out) uhh yeah.

If you press the "Z" key in the cutscenes where Susie uses Rude Buster before the Spamton NEO battle and in Noelle's room, the Rude Busters will have a different sound effect, just like in battle.

This one took a hot second but I'm superduperduper proud of it. I also know I promised pencil sketches to fill up the time but ya boy got carried away lol. This one is a counterpart to my other comic, "Blue Dress". Where that one had Puppet Spam reminiscing about his past, this one's about AdiSpam thinking about his future. I really really really want to make a sequel to this comic but it all depends if the reception of this is strong enough lol
