@nightcigale mentioned wanting to do a zine just of her many illustrations from you can only take what you can carry to the edge of the sea. I mentioned why don't we print it with the text of the story like a zine. then I looked into it and zines are not 250-300 pages, so it'd be a small book.

This is JUST AN INTEREST CHECK because we'd have to hit a certain amount of copies for this to even be possible. You are not making a hard commitment here. That said, please answer honestly, I need numbers to get quotes.

so small update:

we have enough interested parties to take the idea seriously, but that means i now have a lot of work to do. i have to do a full edit of TWYCC and format it for print and see what the final page count would be because

we're pretty sure it'd have to be two volumes, not one. but I won't know for sure until i create a fucking MANUSCRIPT. but its looking very likely it has to be two volumes. because its fucking 150k words and google lied about how many pages that would be.

which means my initial price estimate was super off, which sucks.

I will do another interest check later on when i have more clear numbers on page count/price estimate for two volumes, but please keep signal boosting/replying to the first check so i can let interested parties know.

also for folks worried about international shipping: i'd work with you if you really wanted a copy, so don't worry too much about that yet, still put in your interest. i'm keeping a running tally of countries.
