i hope this doesnt come across as offensive, but is this just something you do for fun, or are you actually in love with this fictional character? like... is this something you do in lieu of dating people in real life? i'm just kind of curious because i haven't met many self-shippers.

Oh LOL no worries. Selfship for me is more on the fun-side but I also have a strong attachment to certain characters if that makes sense. It's like experiencing having a favorite character in a more personal way, if that makes sense. It doesn't get in the way of my actual social life, of course, I just keep that private. ^_^ Selfshipping is different for everyone! Think of mine as... a comfort thing, and a way to experience my favorite characters in a more personal manner.

This thing looks so unsettling, it looks inhuman. It looks like some kind of animal that would scurry around like a rat or mouse and try to inject poison into me, or some kind of demon wearing a human’s skin. But you can like what you like, I guess.

The art style leaves much to the imagination and by God do I use that to my advantage.
