Lore about Clearsight I think 🤔

Clearsight— as all wof fans know— was an advanced seer, but in my au, she also had Nightmagic (mostly I insert tribe name magic depending where you’re born from and the circumstances where your egg is hatched) which is was she’s an advanced seer. She didn’t really want to explore her dormant powers because she thought her visions were already enough. But after she met Darkstalker, she started to get into magic works.

Her magic was teleporting, telekinetic energy, the ability to go in the past, and warping small parts of reality around her. It wasn’t like big level threat but it was powerful. She aided in the fight with Fathom against Darkstalker and after that, she left. And when she met— I forgot the Beetlewing’s name.. but we’re just going to call him amber, and had her babies, she wanted to pass down her magic with her book (Book of Clearsight). So she made certain decedents be chosen to use the magic of the book. They would have the ability to see the past, breathe Nightwing fire, teleport, and the rest of Clearsight’s magic.

Cricket, was the chosen one for the book, she didn’t want to hurt anyone but she shot fire at Wasp once in retaliation before she could hurt anyone, not deathly, but a warning. Hivewings that were chosen by the book have faint tear drop scales and like some white tint on the forehead to resemble their seer ancestor.

Queeeernnnnnn WASSSPPPPSSSS

I feel like queen Wasp was just some throwaway character, so that’s why I’m telling you about my au 🥹. After Wasp became connected with the BOE (Breath of Evil) It slowly started to change her, her eyes and under scales as well as any easy-to-flush out scales started to turn this pale green, her dark eyes glinting with an EVIL emerald glow to show how the BOE changed her. It also came with abilities with the help of Clearsight’s magical book.

(also part of my au that Clearsight learned some types of magic by Darkstalker, we’ll get to that later in another post maybe)🤔

Wasp’s magic is green, poisonous, and parasitic, able to cause painful blows if touched— kind of like raining venom— her claws are more venomous than any Hivewing in the kingdom and she is an experienced fighter even when she’s so old. She’s not an elder, but an ancient (dragons who have succeeded to pass their ages and continue to grow until their new age of death— which is pretty long— so she’s been here for some generations)

She has this huge battle against the Leafwings and the Silkwings after the decided to band together to defeat Wasp. She had made the librarian (one who could use Clearsight’s magical book only) to create this battle to the death dome and it would only dissipate until one of the others died. She died when Sundew shoved her off balance and out into the magical barrier, nothing but magical particles gone into the air. And that’s how she died in my au, because… why are we allowing, a lying war criminal who almost committed a wipe out genocide, sit in flamesilk caverns with her sisters? But yeah

PEAKWINGSSS, at first I made them as a fan tribe, but I just broke off because I just wanted to make it my own thing. They kind of work as a constitutional monarchy and they live in very rocky terrain above ground, which is why they are called Peak dragons. The dragon in the cool wear is their queen, queen Rainier, she was the nicest queen there was until she was unalived by queen malachite, now her daughter which is somewhere to 19 years old after her death has to now face the troubles of the war when she was obviously not ready.

This is a somewhat old drawing of what vision I had of the dragon tribes I imagined, and there’s an even OLDER on somewhere in that book but I’m too lazy to fish it. The stuff written there as description may change a bit, but more on the war thing. So the Peak tribe is at war with the Silver tribe because of a SACRED artifact that was broken long ago before their time OooOoOoO! Now, queen Malachite uses her part of the Sacred Stone to annihilate queen Rainier and threatens the Peak tribe that if they don’t give her the other half of the stone “There would be more calculates than just their queen”

I’m so proud of myself, I’ve come a long way and my goal on drawing dragons has been so awesome, this is so awesome, you guys are awesome, ty ;]

This is queen malachite, she is like a silver type dragon and she is the bad guy. He is in war with the peak tribe because they have something she wants and it’s a pretty powerful artifact and all has to deal with certain ties in the past

AUGHH! So like, it’s going to be an awesome month because it’s Christmas break! And I GYAT even better at drawing dragons and I made my own types of dragons, then I redesigned wings of fire dragons, I don’t really like the leaf and night design so I might have to do that again… AUGHH!

I like the mangle from that one game she had the owl as her other head instead of the endo skeleton. I also like to think of her being one of the types of animatronics to have their limbs spring and twist kind of like mommy long legs. The other one to have springy limbs would be sundrop yah

Freeeedomm but evil 😈 er er rer

So for my freedom, uh she's just very crazy. So, in her time, she was deemed a leader for protecting territory and was the very first dragon to have leafspeak, but when the breath of evil events took place, she was so scared that she decided to consume it after being severely injuried in a panther ambush.

Then, the breath of evil made her turn against the early leafwing tribe which led to her getting kicked out and went to the Abyss. Some early leafwings still followed her for protection and they just been living in the hole. Soon, Freedom started to go crazy with the constant whispering of the breath of evil and decided, "oh, the voice is helping me! Let's make a cult!"

So like for years, Leafwings under ground started to change into darker tones and being slimmer than a regular dragon, everyone there was crazy, and if a leafspeaker was born there, they would be born to be sacrificed after when they are fully developed. They also had dragged more Leafwings there when the tree wars happened, the leafwings were confused on why they didn't look normal, but decided to follow anyway. So its just a civilization in there now.

So she's been telling her followers the false promises that they'll be in the trees again ad flora shall prosper once the breath of evil is "whole" again. Leafspeakers, are part of the breath of evil in my au. The more leafspeakers sacrificed into the abyss the more the breath of evil became whole again. Sundew was what the other mind wanted because her power was like no other, so it was freedom that was like a physical version or like the telephone for the other mind. Freedom tried to act as normal as possible, trying to get Sundew to listen to her reason that if she just joined the other mind, that the tree would come back again and that the Hivewings would pay. A lie.

why didn't add the real backstory to the actual freedom? Uh... I don't really like it because idk. And, I like making things darker sometimes than it actually is... yeah.

seawing redesign!!

This is another example what I mean by seawing being put in any pallets of fish colors

A bit of lore in my seawing random fan fiction I just decided to have, Beta (the red dragonet u just saw) and his 8 siblings are in a bad situation because of their mother and father. The current queen, queen Cyclone, had made a strict policy for her 3 sisters to have only 2 dragonets, unfortunately, none of them listened.

Barracuda was the mother of Beta and his 8 sibs, she was not the best mother, and the only reason she had the dragonets was to get closer to the throne with the expanse of many offspring, she did NOT like Cyclone at all, their rivalry beginning before Cyclone was even queen. Barracuda would smother her two daughters, telling them that they were her future, or they had a role to live up to which was just a sugarcoat of "Hey, off my sister so I don't get my hands dirty"

Cyclone didn't want to get rid of her two sisters in fear it would break the bond of nobles and royalty, though she had to take some action to make sure that her family knew that she was still the queen here. She would make her sisters do many errands and harsh jobs that very low class servants would do. That was until the birth of Beta, Cyclone was tired of her sister's (Barracuda) constant defiance and decided to kick her of both the deep and summer palace, moving her to a low grade home as punishment for her disobedience.

Barracuda's husband, Gannett, wasn't so happy about this. Gannett was a noble, a very high noble that was in the main council, because of that, he used that to hi advantage to ruin the current family name while uplifting his own. Seawing in the deep sea kingdom and the summer palace has started to raise eyebrows at Cyclone reign and choices behind closed doors.

Cyclone has become very paranoid at the new status of her reputation, she doesn't new who, what, or why this was happening to her. But she is at the verge of just getting rid of her other sister, Bayfish, and her family as well as Baracuda and her family. What will happen? OOOOOoOOOOOoOoooOooooo idk-

This is the ref. So, im just gonna redesign every tribe just because it would help me, and stuff, idk =]

Seawing redesign!!

I was pretty bored since I had nothing to do and my brain was feeling artistic so I decided to do another redesign because I have the Wof guide book now!

I'M NOT finished with it yet, but this is how far I have gone to. But this is what I think that Seawings would be if I drew em. So the first thing I actually changed was that instead of seawings being blue, green, purple, and sometimes brown. I wanted them to be all colors, like all fish are, so I ref off of fishes and put their pallets on seawings. And instead of scale gills, it would be actual gills, and they would also have the bulb whisker things like an Eastern dragon I think...

I kept their buil and wings the same because I think it fits them perfectly, they would also have shark shaped teeth to look, ya know, like an actual apex predator. I gave them more frills and stuff, but I'm thinking of more things I want to add.

So like, if you were a Seawing that lived underwater, you would have an absolute hard time flying in the air, but if you were Tsunami, it would be the opposite because the frills could be used both ways for air or water, but most seawings traditionally are in water.... yah. Sometimes I headcannon some seawings have the ability to produce echolocation, idk why.
