hi friends. i just want to say that it’s not selfish to grieve the everyday things we’re all losing right now. it’s okay to be sad that you had to leave all of your friends from college two months earlier than planned without getting a chance to say goodbye. that your graduation got cancelled. that you won’t get to celebrate spring holidays with your family. that you had to postpone your wedding. that you had to call off your birthday party. that the concert you’ve had marked on your calendar for months isn’t happening. that you don’t get to go to work and see your coworkers every day. that you can’t go to the library or the movies or your favorite restaurant or store. it’s okay to be sad about these things and you can, in fact, be sad about them while still being grateful for your health and recognizing that this is all for the best. I love you all & I’m here if you want to complain about any of the above or other things, and I don’t think it’s silly at all
