We have tea, coffee, treats and vices if you want some extra kick to your beverage!
We're Magpie and Crow - two best friends who love writing, roleplaying and fandom!
It's near impossible for either of us to not be creating something - Magpie makes beautiful Minecraft builds and gorgeous nail polish designs and Crow is either thinking about writing comics, novels, or playing with makeup designs!
We both make up characters for fun and this blog is more or less to archive and talk about our little guys! Along with other characters OR fandoms we love!
Somethings to expect from us!
-OCs (either to dump into the void, to play with OR to give fun facts about!)
-Story Concepts,
-Roleplaying
-TTRPGs (Magpie adores DnD, Crow is in an unhealthy relationship with WoD)
-Fandom thoughts
-Spelling mistakes
-Possible life stories OR funny things that happen
I'm particularly bad at introductions but I will try and be brave for y'all!
I'd generally describe myself on the more gothic end especially when in comparison to Magpie (they're like a beacon of light and positivity, genuinely one of the best people you'll ever meet. Love you) - I enjoy gothic horror and romance.
I'm very big on whimsy and fantasy - one of my friends has mentioned that my most notable writing choice is that there will ALWAYS be a ghost of some kind in my works. Especially they're short stories.
My writing has a lot of a lot of animal motifs, when I write I prefer focusing in on more isolated areas and personal stories, and personal terrors. Though, I am quite fond of personally writing something and saying "wow, wouldn't that be fucked up though?" Or "wow, wouldn't that be lovely?"
Somethings my buddy's have said about my style and what to expect:
Mx. Magpie "I think, when it comes to characters, you tend to focus more on the flaws those characters have."
Ferret "expressive, brimming with character, overall very Crow."
The Rats "it's multigenre but focuses a lot on relationships/platonic relationships."
Eagle "I would say it's very introspective, like it focuses heavily on the inward thoughts and emotions of the characters."
Things I like!:
Pink (and glitter, if it's shiney it's miney.)
Makeup, fashion and aesethics (much to Magpie's annoyance at times, to quote them directly "girl, you DO NOT have to be the hottest person at the doctor's office!").
Magpie!
Sims 4 (mainly modding and CAS.), Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Skyrim (Astrid! Arnbjorn! Nooo!!!), Minecraft, Alice by American McGee, Little Miss Fortune, Fran Bow, Sallyface, The Path, Vampire Bloodlines. Much more!!
Drawing and art in general,
Collecting shiny things, sparkly things, creepy things, weird things and pretty things! (Crow - get it?)
Red VS Blue, KilljamXXX, CreepCast, Distractable, Creepypasta (shut up, Magpie! I am cringe and I am FREE), Legends of Aventris, Friday the 13th (and slashers in general), Dead By Daylight (lore, I'm SHIT at fighting games.), Tales from the Gas-station, Accounts from a Lonely Broadcast Station. Gravity Falls, Adeventure Time, Over the Garden Wall, Pet Semetery, and much more!!
World of Darkness (much, MUCH to both Magpie and Eagle's annoyance. To be annoying at times is to be loved.) (I'm also a player of DnD, Magpie and I are in a bunch of campaigns together!!),
Weird/horrifying/absurd history, especially on makeup and fashion.
Ghosts and anything folkloric, mythological or spiritual!
Comic books and graphic novels! (My dream is to have the entire Jonny the Homicidal Maniac collection!!)

Hiiiii :) I'm Magpie (They/Them (but she/her also works if you really insist on binaries)).
I tend to focus more on platonic relationships and found family in my writing and my characters, sibling dynamics in particular are my favourite!
To quote Crow on my writing style: "I'd say it's very cute and fluffy - introspective as well, but you tend to focus much more on the positives of characters. Very much feels like a comforting cloud"
Eagle, as Crow has decided to call him, is actually my brother and will likely be someone we talk about quite often on this blog.
I am PROUDLY canadian🍁I can and will make myself a stereotype for jokes (though SOME people Crow will say I am already a stereotype because I'm so nice to everyone).
Some things I like:
Anything with stars on it (be prepared to see a lot of stars in any art I attempt to make)
Anything purple and yellow, my absolute favourite colours <3
Crow <3<3<3
Harry Potter (specifically the marauders) (also fuck jkr)
Dungeons & Dragons!! Expect to see me talk about my d&d characters a lot
Fanfiction!!!
Stranger Things (seriously, please talk to me about ST, Crow doesn't watch it and I need to YAP with someone), Haunted Hotel, South Park, Gravity Falls, and so many more that I can't think of rn
Sewing! I sew plushies for all of my friends. I might post some pics at some point ;) (Crow here - they made a pink bunny plushie named Rozzmund!! It's very cute!)
Collecting jewellery and shiny things (cliché, I know)
Stardew Valley, Minecraft, SallyFace, Fran Bow, Skyrim, Marvel Rivals, Baldur's Gate... just to name a few games
a collection of Accounts From A Lonely Broadcast Station doodles, from newest to oldest. This has been one of my favorite horror series for years, (created by @kelbyronauthor) so i decided to finally post all of the drawings i have made of it so far. it really deserves more love, i highly recommend reading it and/or listening to the narrated versions on youtube
The whole crew learned about the flesh monster that collects your flesh for itself and Evelyn went "yeah, I could fight that thing." And poor Davy Boy and Finn are along for this white girls bad decisions
I'm scrolling through looking at Magpie's posts and I think it'd be funny to tell whatever followers we have about the Dark Brotherhood Incident:
You see, first and foremost, I have a particular taste in women so whenever I get the Dark Brotherhood quest OF COURSE I took it - one thing lead to another and I fell instantly in love with Astrid (and by promixity her husband, I'm a polite woman after all - I'll fuck you if you let your wife fuck me. And even as a lesbian we all have exceptions to our rules.) well Magpie spends.... A month? MAYBE more "subtlely" saying how Astrid dies and I'm stubborn and stupid so I completely ignore it and then promptly cry for 2 weeks AFTER she got burned to death.
I still believe in a world out there were I saved my two beloveds and we live happily ever after, killing rich people.
Astronauts are so funny man. Here's just a couple of things I've found hilarious from this past week of space stuff:
It's probably already been spread around here enough already, but in case anyone's missed it; 7 hours after launch, commander Reid Wiseman, dealing with tech issues, uttered the generational quote "I have two Microsoft Outlooks and neither one of those are working."
After fixing the issues that were afflicting the onboard toilet, mission specialist Christina Koch (who has quickly become my favourite of the four) laughingly said “I’m the space plumber, I’m proud to call myself the space plumber.”
On Easter Sunday, the Artemis II crew hosted a makeshift egg hunt, by hiding packets of dehydrated scrambled eggs around their Orion capsule.
The way the crew always makes sure to make it very clear they're in space when doing interviews. From stuff like Wiseman just hanging out floating sideways on screen or Koch letting her hair loose so it can freely span out flowing around her.
While in transit, the crew decided to record a parody of those bad 80s sitcom intros where everyone turns and smiles at the camera.
When the crew reached the furthest point from Earth in the mission, they jokingly clambored over each other in an effort to get to the far side of the capsule, so that they could individually claim to be the furthest person from earth.
At the same time, on the ISS which was at the time on the other side of earth, the 7 astronauts onboard had a light-hearted race to the far side of the station, making jokes about being the furthest humans from Artemis.
On the way back to earth, NASA actually managed to establish an audio call between the crews of the ISS and Artemis II (where they shared the above info), and Koch called one member of the ISS crew, Jessica Meir, her "astro-sister" as the two of them previously spacewalker together in 2019. Meir then responded I'm so happy that we are back in space together, even if we are a few miles apart" (a few here being 230,000).
While Jeremy Hansen was doing an interview, Wiseman and Koch were just in the background swatting the mission mascot (a little moon plush toy named Rise) back and forth between each other.
Hey!!! It's Ms. Crown here to say I'm not leaving the blog - I've just been super busy with school work and unable to add in my own reblogs, still here and still creative!!
