I am happy for Taylor but I don't like how lately it makes me feel less of a fan whenever something happens. Like seeing her post was shocking, especially cuz I thought it might be related to the album at first, but it didn't disrupt my day or make me cry really or anything like that, which is what I've been constantly seeing posts about now. So in a way I feel left out and feeling like I'm less of a fan for not caring as much. Idk maybe cuz I don't really plan on being married either or I just care more about the album? I can't tell what it is but everything just gets so over exaggerated all the time, even talking about how she was so comfortable to share it with us now. also how Travis is an important part of the album and he's in every part of the album and that's why she included him so much, which is partly true cuz it's about her life, but nobody really acted like this with Folklore and Evermore which Joe was part of. I just constantly feel like I'm missing something most of the time by not being as excited or enthusiastic, but maybe the problem is me.

I know exactly how you feel 🫂 It did feel a little bit sad that my reaction to the engagement news was just "that's nice for her" and "ugh I guess the internet's going to be insufferable for a while now" - certainly none of the crying or heart racing or anything that other people describe. Especially because at one point I would've expected news like this to affect me more, this has really been a signifier of how far detached from her I've become (even as I continue to love her music). This feeling in general is not helped by not caring about Travis, like you say so much of the Taylor content we get and the fandom focus seems to be on him/their relationship so it's very easy to start feeling left out and just more distant from Taylor.

Weirdly Specific Things from Dreams

Okay, I was pondering this on the way home from work, so, which weirdly specific (or specifically weird) thing that tends to crop up my dreams have you also noticed in yours?

You try to run/move fast but feel like you're moving through pudding

Teeth crack/fall out

Suddenly naked/mostly naked

Random Tornados! (seriously these come up a lot for some reason)

Try to hit something/someone but can't put any umph behind it

Need to get to class but can't remember where it is! (seriously wtf)

Try to read something but the words don't hold still/change

Wake up feeling like you fell into yourself
