Feeling dependent on your medicine because without it it seems near impossible to actually get anything done
You go to drink an energy drink or coffee and it makes you tired
Folders within folders within folders... Hyperorganization is part of it, ADHD is not just getting distracted
When you take your medicine to focus on work and you end up focusing on something else....
Getting super hungry all at once instead of gradually
Loosing your appetite due to meds or getting so hyper-focused on something that you forget to eat
Side affects no one tells you about but you have to learn to accept.
If we have good grades, it's because we work hard for them. The accommodations only help make it possible and we probably wouldn't be able to get those good grades without the help of those accommodations. That's why we get accommodations.
People don't get that we need the extended time, and that's why they give it to us. It only levels the playing field.
