Am I the Asshole?

I never do this but I'm getting weirded out.

The facts:

I'm buying a property I currently rent with a lot of junk on it. One of the stipulations of the sale is that the seller remove all old vehicles from the property. I'll take care of the rest of the junk. The sale was supposed to close today. The seller had over a month to achieve the conditions of the sale. 3/4 have been moved.

Some local man has expressed interest in the 38ft Motorhome that's been left to rot for the last three years in the back corner of the property. (Broken window, flat tires, full of old bits of someone else's life, waterlogged carpet, you get the picture.) He's cleaned it out. If he takes the bags of garbage or leaves them for me remains to be seen.

He's been here the last three days - often until 11 pm or later at night. He left his truck overnight here the other day. He tells the seller he'll be here at noon and doesn't turn up until 6pm. Apparently a tow truck was coming between 7-8pm tonight. He turned up around 4:30pm. It's 11:15pm and he's still here - no tow truck. Motorhome still there.

I think it's not unreasonable to want someone off your property when you're trying to go to bed.

I'm a single female presenting individual, 5ft 6 inches with two 100 lb LGD (Anatolian x Mastiff and Akbash x Maremma) that don't fuck around, so buddy hasn't come up to the door or anything to explain what's going on but also hasn't responded to the seller in hours. The seller ended up texting me to see if it was still there. It is.

I am deeply uncomfortable trying to sleep knowing someone is knocking around outside. I am 100% relying on my dogs cause this man definitely knows I live alone now.

Here's where I may be the asshole:

I called the cops. I fucking hate the cops but I don't love some random dude hanging out on my property while I'm sleeping. It's the cops or let my dogs go nuts and suffer whatever consequences that brings - which seems like an absolute last resort. So cops it was. And he told them it was his grandma's RV, and therefor has sentimental value and he's so close to getting it into first gear...

Anyways, they did nothing and now it's half past midnight and his truck is still back there and I'm still weirded out. How late is too late to be doing vehicle work on someone else's property? When do you call it a day? Am I overreacting?

The Motorhome is free on the condition that it is moved by today. (Suffice to say that did not happen.)

UPDATE

It's not his Grandma's RV. He's been lying about timelines to the seller and lying to the cops to stall for more time because more people are interested in the free Motorhome. Dude's truck was still on the property this morning. I took the dogs out for a walk and as we're squeezing between the truck and the motorhome the passenger truck door pops open and some woman chirps "Good Moooorning!"

I choke back a startled expletive and ask

"What are you doing here?"

The man is in the driver seat and says across to me

"Oh we fell asleep here last night."

(Internal WTF - WE? SLEEP HERE?)

"You need to move this Motorhome now, or I'm having it towed. That's not ok."

"Oh sorry, sorry sorry. I have a friend coming. We're going to move it (etc)."

That went on for a bit and I was very firm in that I wanted it either it moved or themselves moved immediately.

Long story short, I called the stupid fucking cops again and they came and were like

"Well they're understandably upset that they've been working on it and are now being asked to leave but they're going to go, they're packing up and it's going to be difficult to move the thing but that will be your problem, alright?."

And I said

"GREAT."

I'd rather a stable problem like a vehicle than a problem like a random man and woman coming and going from my property at all hours of the day and night, not communicating what they're doing and basically being weird as fuck. I don't like randoms cruising around my property while I'm sleeping, I guess that makes me the asshole.
