i always wonder where the repeated push to make Spider-Man have organic webs even comes from. inventing the web shooters always felt like a core Peter Parker moment to me, him using the nerdiness he got bullied for to establish himself, yknow. what's the benefit in having the webs be organic? is it somehow beneficial to the finance side of things? i would assume the opposite; how you gonna sell web shooter toys without web shooters?
Apparently Sam Rami thought it was unrealistic a poor teenager could invent such a revolutionary things; also stay poor after doing so.
