You may notice that some of us have our real names here and some do not, that is intentional as we have started telling more people irl about our plurality and donāt really want to connect it to our internet presence too much.
Our Mary Poppins introject is vain af, so she will totally spend ages scrolling through accounts that just fan over her, but she is also an Edwardian lady and is incredibly caught off guard by the internet. All that to share that I think she just got startled half out of front by a post of herself captioned āpls- step on me-ā

This was originally going to be longer but Iāve got a gnarly migraine.. you know for being a guy that hates the number 3 a lot of these comics are 3 pages..
I am genuinely saddened to see so many people so unreasonably mad about Simply Plural shutting down. Is it super useful? Yes. Is it super helpful? Yes.
But we were plural before SP, we used Google Sheets to both organize and share info about ourselves, and plurals before Google used pen and paper and tables made from ASCII. You will survive this. You can pivot to a different tool. You can create your own. There are already other people looking to make their own apps and tools. It's going to be okay.
And I'm genuinely pissed at how many people are dismissive of the mental health of SP's dev, apparylis. (I may be spelling that wrong. Apologies if so.) Thousands of hours of unpaid labor over the past several years, maybe even tens of thousands, and the way people are talking about them, I'm just like. Ungrateful much?
