perhaps i should make a introductory post it's only been what? a year since i made this account? yeah!

anyways hi hello howdy i am generic!! (she/her)

i'm an artist who makes wayyy to much art all of the time, mostly focusing on martyn (inthelittlewood)'s vtuber lore and art of my ocs!

currently my pfp is of my oc elida and was made by my friend @chaotictoast :)

more under cut to reduce length :P

i also roleplay (probably a bit too much) with said ocs, and most were made specifically for it :P

very much too hyper and has been obsessed for too long with martyns datastream defender/vtuber lore and i also enjoy eyes and ears but not to as agressive of a degree ;-; (we'll see if that changes once he FINALLY REVEALS HOW THEYRE CONNECTED MY GODDDD)

also fun fact: i got tumblr JUST to look at the guys tumblr and to check out #itlwlore and then i fell down a rabbit hole and started posting 😭

i also enjoy the life series, powcreations smps, the magnus archives + protocol, the crane wives, eyes, and many other random things! :)

i really just took the excuse to use as many hurty on the eyes saturated colors as i possibly could (they're my favorites to use) and i drew him so far out of the frame you cannot tell where he's supposed to be contained

anyways i perhaps have done a slight improvement, actually the first one is a redraw of ANOTHER older art (it's actually terrible though im not putting that on my blog no thank)

i love doing things like this, not only because it's a really good way to side by side compare my growth, but also my old art is actually really cool and i like seeing it in a form that present day me is happy with :D

i realised i'm finally at the art skill needed to fully make the peice i wanted to make to this quote back in january so that's super cool (no im not showing the old one but it might be somewhere on here anyway)

art ramble time because i don't know how to post yay

im super impressed with my lighting and shading- it keeps getting batter and better and tbh i still don't know what im doing lmao

i used the procreate lasso tool for coloring and some lineart and OH MY GOD why have i not been doing more of that it makes it all so easy and the lines are so crisp aaaaah

and now i return to my slumber see ya in november when i make another martyn art (gotta make one per month because im comparing them at the end of the year)

no i just used time and my stupid amount of Art Skill that i suddenly have would you like wips that sucks you're getting wips

My first time operating CCTV cameras I was handed control over what was essentially 50 independently moving eyes that collectively covered an area about the size of a football field and from that experience I now know that

Suddenly having 50 moving eyes can make you disoriented and barfy and the adjustment period sucks ass

It takes both more and less time than you’d think to figure out what the structure as a whole looks like and where those eyes ARE

After you get used to it the entirety of the structure itself and all of the eyes you can see from feels like an extension of your nervous system in a very bizarre way. Like I have dreams now from the perspective of A Building and I’m not sure how to describe that.

Once you are aware of an unreachable blind spot it nags at you constantly and you can feel it like a hard little lump under your skin you need to poke and scratch at and it’s ardghgguychgghhbhhhbhhh

i felt like i had to make a lil peice given how much i love this album and how much this band genuinely changed my life (i wouldn't have 3 of my closest friends without the crane wives and that thought is insane to me)

anyways they're referring to a craft i made of the sequencer (SEEQ) from martyns datastream defender lore (i'll put a photo under the cut)

anyways answering the question, i made it out of cardboard, paper, paint, markers, fineliners, watercolor, hot glue, and the thing on the top of half of the plastic tag for a pair of gloves from walmart that i glued paper onto

i cut out the shape twice, put two slightly smaller squares inside and glued it all together :)

also here's the thing for reference, i was looking at screenshots from the rats1 lore episode :)
