This is AMAZING! 😍
Obligatory Valentine’s post. I made those last year, and they haven’t gotten any more creative since, but they’re still relevant.
I’m too lazy to cut out more caps of them.
Bonus:
Imagine a fandom in which one character is canonically a slave, but in the fanon the slave character is often the dominate one in the relationship.
Imagine a fandom in which the canon slave character is physically much slighter and smaller than the slave owner character but in the fanon the slave character is still often the dominate one in the relationship.
Imagine a fandom wherein in the fic, the canonically slighter, less “beautiful” slave character is a boss at everything he does.
Imagine a fandom wherein in the fic, the canonical slave owner spends a lot of time thinking about how boss the slave character is.
Imagine a fandom in which, in canon, the slave becomes the slave owner and the slave owner becomes the slave, and then in fic these shifts of power dynamics are replicated and considered and played upon.
Imagine a fandom in which one half of the ship never seems to be made into someone clinging and weak and delicate who can’t function on his own and constantly bursts into tears; imagine a big powerful man constantly thinking about how much he’d like to submit; imagine that it isn’t always that simple.
Imagine a fandom that appears to be in love with researching history.
Imagine a fandom whose fic often maneuvers the characters into equal relationships before porn commences.
Imagine a fandom wherein understanding and accepting cultural differences is a common theme for the fic.
You have just imagined The Eagle fandom.

Do you guys even realized how fucking hot this scene is.
Fic: Bruce/Dick
It's 1971, and Dick is leaving for college. Bruce is grieving.

Batfic: We’ll Always Have Paris
A traveling exhibit of Amazonian jewels goes missing at the Gotham Museum of Antiquities, and local philanthropist Bruce Wayne is asked to perform as ambassador (and detective) by following the exhibit to its next destination: Paris. After two weeks, he sends for Dick. But Dick decides to surprise his partner, and shows up a little early.
Set in the Silver Age, in 1969, this fic is filled with the magic of Paris, Dick’s wonderful joie de vivre and Bruce being inappropriate. I don't know whether to call it gen or slash or m/f. It's a bit of all of them, especially if you squint.
We’ll Always Have Paris (on AO3) Rated T
Chapter 1: Welcome to Paris, Dick Grayson! Chapter 2: Dick's first glass of wine Chapter 3: Back in Gotham, Superman (pretending to be Batman) runs into Catwoman Chapter 4: Tripping the Light Fantastic Chapter 5: Dick Eavesdrops on an Interesting Discussion

It’s here: Love and Other Dangers
This is a tale of rogue diamonds and jealousy—lots of jealousy, of secret identities, backroom deals, espionage, Wayne Tech Industries in a jam and mysterious people with mysterious motives. Matches Malone makes his appearance and Catwoman uses every one of her aliases. Gotham's at stake, Catwoman's faithfulness is at stake, and the very fabric of national security is threatened!
