I kind of want to revive this blog, but at the same time I remember how time consuming it was and just... No I don't have time this year...
Hey there I'm an RBR. A random book recommender. I would like to recommend 1)To All The Boys I've Loved Before 2) Aishiteruze Baby and 3) Beauty Pop I hope you enjoy at least one of these books/mangas.
Hi! Thank you for the recs. This blog is currently dead (I still haven't gotten around to deleting it because I need the password for it and I'm always too lazy to change it), but I still appreciate it!Although you really are random. You've picked romance, a genre I almost never read, and all straight romances when a good chunk of my posts are "ew get these heteros out of my book". Still, I do enjoy shoujo manga sometimes, so I might check the manga out (the third seems interesting)! Thank you again for the recs and go on spreading love for books, you wonderful person!
I will delete this blog tonight or tomorrow at the latest, once I finish going through the archive and reblogging everything cool. I've also unfollowed all book blogs I was following because lately booklr was often making me anxious or angry (trust me, it's me not you). I've followed the personal blogs of those I talked with sometimes, if I knew their non-bookish url. If we talked and I didn't have your personal/you don't have a not-book-related blog/you don't wanna share your personal, just let me know and I'll follow you. If we didn't talk please don't follow me on my personal. Thanks a lot everyone, I hope it was fun.
This makes me think so much of Fitz right now.
Before, middle, now. I’ve still got all those books to go. I can’t see them all fitting on somehow…
Please if these are billy shelves, don’t put hard covers in the middle of a shelf in vertical piles. these shelves already bow terribly under way less and way lighter books, don’t put that kind of stress right in the centre even if it was a more resilient bookshelf, I wouldn’t advise putting hardcovers in the middle and certainly not in vertical piles
The daughter of fantasy novelist Terry Pratchett, who died in march this year, told fans: ‘I don’t intend on writing more Discworld novels, or giving anyone else permission to do so. They are sacred to dad’

I'm bookishsilvertongue btw, I forgot to sign myself and that's a side blog. Runaways is excellent, if you ever wanna fangirl about it, think about me!
Definitely! Right now I’m obsessing over the Unbeatable Squirrel Girl though I’m loving it!
I really want to read that, but unfortunately I have to wait for trades to buy comics :( stupid Atlantic ocean
have you ever shipped a ship so hard you forgot is wasn’t canon
me: I wish there was more LGBT+ representation
me, when I get representation: *cries from page one to the back cover*
I have just noticed this blog surpassed the number of followers I have on my main, I am so incredibly happy! Thanks everyone for being here listening to my rants!
2011: You guys should watch Game of Thrones! It’s a pretty good adaption and the actors are great and the dialog is interesting and subtle and you’ll fall in love with these characters and want to know what happens next!
2015:
The worst thing is that it actually worked, and everyone I did this to still happily watches the show while I screech like a pterodactyl at every character butchery and unnecessary violence against women.
“Do you not know that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken?” ― Terry Pratchett, Going Postal
I've been going so slow with Fool's Errand, but reading about Beloved is just so damn painful. The fact it's through Fitz's pov makes it even worse, because if it was their pov we'd know the extent of their pain and longing, like this instead I fill in with my own.
So…
If Morporkia the lady is the personification of Ankh-Morpork the city, would you call her ankhthromorporkphic?
What I like about Ponder Stibbons, as a character, is that he oscillates at random between “Sir, please remove your head from the firework, I think it might be unwise for you to continue with this course of action” and “I CANNOT BELIEVE these old coots would not let me generate electricity by tying several thousand cats to a giant wheel full of amber rods, what do you have against progress” with room in the middle for making science puns that nobody laughs at and collecting clipboards because he just wants the world to be logical.
Truly the finest blend of Weirdo For Science and The Sensible One in our time.
