i think mechsplo people would like five star stories a lot. got some very cool visuals along, designs, merging of mind and machine, along with like 99% of the cast being girls [also the mechs are really attractive] [PS, the mortar headd here is called the bangdoll!]

thump. thump. thump. the whine of actuators rang out inside the cockpit. t minus 10 minutes to the destination....even harsh resistance would be better than the mind numbing walking that had taken up the last 10 hours.

"commander....we got anything better to do while walking than just talk? we ran out of stories hours ago.."

"if you dont shut u-" I never got to hear the end of what he said. his mech was torn in half by a round from a superheavy tank in the brush.

we all scattered. 3 experimental 4 meter tall mechs vs a 100 ton monster? we stood no chance...until my other squadmate barked up with an idea on the fly.

and so, smoke flew through the air. the mech's legs carried it as fast as it could go. i saw a round hit the leg of my squadmate, taking his mech out of movement. i was the only one left.

and so, in a split second, i grappled onto the mech, and slid the giant knife into the turret ring. it was remarkably like gutting an animal; the tank whined and groaned as i wrenched the turret open, the 3 man crew inside trying to spray my mech with SMG fire.

and so, i remember grabbing one and simply crushing him, throwing another into a tree, and finally slamming the gunner who took out my commander against his own tank till he was reduced to paste.
