One bonus of being An Adult ™ is grossly misusing modern slang on purpose and watching the young interns cry inside
a fine example: the other day I pointed at a passing shark and, while looking one intern right in the eye, went “Man is that bae or what huh?” and the look on his face was something i will treasure for years
Unpopular opinion but I’m really not a huge fan of pumpkin

So for the last three months, I’ve been living without a real kitchen. My sister and I have been surviving with a dorm room set up of a toaster oven, microwave, and hot plate in the living room. On Friday though, we finally got something resembling a real kitchen back! We finally have appliances (including a dishwasher, hallelujah!), so to celebrate, yesterday I made homemade doughnuts and it was the greatest thing ever! I haven’t had a doughnut since before I went vegan three years ago, so it was really the greatest thing ever.
I’ve eaten so many doughnuts in the last 24 hours that I’m ready for another three year hiatus though.
My before and after photos from my first successful run through Crush60! These photos don’t show most of my gains; the energy, the strength, or the confidence, but they do show some small changes in my body composition.
Between these photos was a lot of sweat, tears, and bruises, some losses of motivation, an injury, a round of bronchitis, and several restarts to be able to finish strong on the latest attempt.Â
Measurements (Start -> Today):
Bra line: 40.5″ -> 35.5″
Bicep: 14.5″ -> 15″ ***
Waist: 44″ -> 39.5″
Hip: 52″ -> 50″
Upper Thigh: 30″ -> 29″
Lower Thigh: 23.5″ -> 22″
Calf: 17.5″ -> 16.5″
Despite the awesome changes in my measurements, I’ve actually gained weight, about 5-8 lbs! I really don’t care about the scale, I weigh myself about once every two or three months, I’d be fine staying this weight as long as I gain all the muscle!!
*** SUPER excited that my arms are gaining so much muscle, except... My favorite jacket doesn’t fit right now. It fits everywhere except my bis/tris :/
Being a procrastinator with a violent fear of failure is almost hilarious because like 80% of the time I’m like “I’m not even going to think about this” and then there’s like a distinct moment when everything switches and it turns to “I can’t fail oh my god I need to turn this into an A in like a day why am I like this”
I FINISHED CRUSH60!!!
It took three attempts to make it all the way through, but I finally did it!!
I started this round at the beginning of May, and finished this morning. So many ups and downs, but this is by far the most motivated I’ve ever been to go to the gym!
I bought the nutrition guide, but didn’t end up following it at all for this round, instead just focused on eating less junk food and take out, and cook more, while loosely tracking what I was eating to have an idea where I need to make changes. I tried to jump right into the recommended macros on my first attempt, but it felt a little too overwhelming, and ended up being one of the reasons I stopped the first time.
**Progress pics will come soon, but I waited till after my workout and my hands were shaking so badly that I couldn’t take a photo, and don’t have a full length mirror at home**
Next challenges: 1) Booty boot camp!! I wanted to do mass effect first, but it looks like it’ll be a while before it’s ready to go, so I’m switching it up! 2) make more of an effort to follow the macros, or at least meet my protein goals more often! If anyone has some suggestions for some great easy to make vegan meals that will keep in the fridge for four or five days (I’m all about cooking once for my entire work week), hit me up!!
CONGRATS!! HUGE ACCOMPLISHMENT!! Have fun with Booty Boot Camp!!
Oh my goodness I love this gif so much!!! Thank you!!

PROUD. OF. YOU.Â
I cannot wait to see your progress pictures but one thing pictures cant show is all your MENTAL GAINS!!!!!!!
seriously keep it up. Im so excited for you!!! <3
You are so right about the mental gains!! There were so many workouts that I wouldn’t have finished in a crowded gym because of my anxiety, but powered through because of the support from the entire crush fam!
Plus I just feel strong! Doing my fitness testing for work is a lot easier, I sleep better, and I have more energy! Love those non scale victories!

Hi Ben, just curious if any of the supplements will be vegan? Thanks!
Yep ! This process has been a fun one and is a LARGE part of why things have been taking so long. Overview:
All capsules are obv veggie caps and use no gel from any animal bones. We also recently took a lengthly step back to offer fully disclosed labels and moved our entire operation to a facility in Chicago that sources true vegan ingredients! This means our products are not only vegan friendly, but out ingredients will be sourced from a manufacture that can ACTUALLY claim it.
Our supplements use two things: First is all natural extracted ingredients. Second are ingredients that are MADE. This means that that yes the ingredients themselves “are generally” ALREADY vegan friendly, but we took it a step further.
Some vegan friendly ingredients have sister ingredients that “MAY COME FROM ANIMALS” IE amino acids. Some brand manufactures use animal byproducts to develop their aminos, but still claim vegan because the ingredient itself “is generally not an animal byproduct” and quite frankly it’s a REALLY clever way to get around calling your ingredient vegan, halal, kosher, or vegetarian.Â
Our manufacture can select and develop specific ingredients for our mixes that DO NOT contain animal byproducts for certain, and to me that was the better route to go.
In addition, you will find that 99% of all brands use fillers in their products. Why? Flavoring uses LARGE discrepancies and can throw off the scoop size. Many brands will pick a cheap filler as an afterthought and level out your scoop size. We decided to be smarter and better. Gut rot generally comes from fillers, and we wanted our products to ACTUALLY WORK and yield more effective workouts. The solution? For fillers and flavor leveling we used 2:1:1 BCAA’s and VITAMIN C! Not only did the absorbic acid help with flavoring, but the added benefits of the vitamin are huge. The added BCAA’s in the pre workout only strengthen the products, and we’re honestly thrilled with how they came together. Now you know where the AMINO+C comes from!! I’m done rambling though because I feel like I’m giving away too many secrets LOL. We’re just THAT excited.Â

I’ve managed to collect every Crush workout, so many options now for when I don’t feel like leaving my house but still want to work out!! I’ve always wanted one of aubernutter’s crops too!
Plus, I had to get GO! this weekend, gotta help the fam with the Get Ben A Butt Tattoo mission, because Ben definitely NEEDS it!
