Genuinely though it is so frustrating that nonbinary rights and exorsexism are not treated seriously at all, even from within the queer community. It sucks that there's not even an option for an X gender marker in so many countries, including in more progressive queer-friendly ones. It sucks that if enben want to get gender affirming care that we're advised to lie about our gender (or lack thereof) in favour of a more binary trans identity lest we jump through a million extra hoops on top of the million already in place for binary trans people to prove we're serious in order to get the care we want/need. It sucks that in most cases we're still forced into some kind of binary and I wish that the issues we deal with were acknowledged more.

In reference to that recent post, which Persona 4 characters would care most about the murder of Ai Hoshino?

Given how far out from Tokyo Inaba is and how disconnected from idol/celeb culture the gang as a whole seem to be, I'd say it's probably Rise and Yosuke, as a former idol and former city kid respectively. Rise because that kind of thing probably hits close to home as something really scary happening to someone in her field of work - and maybe even someone she'd worked with or admired - and Yosuke because. well. he's yosuke and there's no way he hasn't done some b-komachi thirstposting in his time. happens to the best of us, king.

That said, the date this happens is actually one of the days of finals in P4 so they probably don't even hear about it until they get home and check the news... i just know for a fact they were texting each other nonstop that entire evening losing their minds

so here is a silly question re: an idea i've been kicking around in my brain. i've always thought that yume shipping and the like looked so fun and like everyone who was playing around there was having a lot of fun but as the most aroace horse on the planet the idea of self-inserting to ship characters With Myself gives me the ick and i've never had any success making an OC for those purposes because i find i can't get especially enthused about it

but recently i've seen a few people who have been doing yume stuff with a pre-existing canon character (as in, the canon character is the one they're shipping around, making AUs, tagging it as yumeblr, etc) and I realized that that's basically what I already do with Ai??? and she's obviously a character i feel Very Strongly about and i think i'd have a lot of fun with it

so my question is twofold basically

would my onkblr homies be interested in seeing a blog that's just there to contain all my most self indulgent yumeposting & probably some oshikatsu stuff. most of my meta & art and stuff would still live here this would just be for the peak for my self indulgence that i am slightly too shy to blast on main
