Spaceships are exploding, planes are crashing, bald eagles and Canadian geese are fighting, nazi salutes are being normalized, Elon got a dictator haircut, thousands of people are getting laid off and rehired everyday, water is purposefully being made unsafe, measles and tuberculosis are making a comeback, the tech bros are trying to make their own towns free from any laws or regulations.

And I’m doing my laundry.

Reading articles about MrBeast's dominance of YouTube is fucking bizarre because, from my perspective, the dude isn't even on YouTube. I've never watched one of his videos. YouTube has, to the best of my knowledge, never recommended one of his videos to me. Every thumbnail screenshot of his looks like something you could tell me was a photoshopped parody of YouTube culture, and I'd believe you. No one I follow on YouTube ever mentions him, even negatively or in passing. The first time I ever heard his name was in regards to the quality of his ghost kitchens. The only way I know he isn't a mass, shared hallucination is that I've witnessed the thoroughly mid-looking chocolate bars he sells at Walmart for some reason

this is repulsive, esp from a "witch." If you're not: hunting and trapping yourself, spending more to buy ethically, or buying secondhand (the only truly ethical solution imo unless you're hunting to survive) you are participating in the suffering and murder of living beings.

i am a hardline vegetarian - there is No Reason for us to be doing this.

why do you need fur or leather or whatever? there's cotton, flax, hemp, bamboo... there's even silk which is supposed to be a whole thing for magic (wrap your cards in silk for example.)

this post is gross, inhumane, and irresponsible. if witches are in tune with and protectors of the natural world and natural cycles, buying fur and leather is the opposite.

one of the comments was "it's already dead" well yeah bc ppl like this are condoning it and perpetuating the cycle of factory farming and let me tell you - it's not good for animals. what percentage of fur animals do you think have been ethically raised and sourced? leather/beef? wool/lamb? it is astoundingly ignorant and naive to believe it's a number that makes any difference.

thinking your fur/leather/wool is produced with no artificial involvement is similarly naive. leather is often made with formaldehyde ffs...

Yeah = yeah

No = No

No, Yeah = Yeah (the no dismisses uncertainty about the yeah)

Yeah, no = No (the yeah confirms the no)

Yeah- no, for sure = yeah (yeah is the answer, with “no, for sure” as emphasis under the same rule as “no, yeah” where the no dismisses uncertainty about the for sure. Generally this means the speaker actually agrees with the asker)

Yeah, yeah, yeah = no (because either the speaker is not listening/paying attention, does not believe the asker, or they are dismissing the asker, often because they have something else to say/suggest; additionally this one is usually used with familiarity, not strangers, and often accompanies annoyance of some sort)
