Brilliant shooting star that you are, I hope you in the light where you belong. I hope you’re at peace. Your light touched the hearts of all who knew you in life.

Jessica (China Musume Cosplay) was recently murdered. I made this comic to honor her, because that’s all I can do for her now. This sweet, sweet sunshine human was brutally torn from this world, and since there’s nothing else I can do, I want more people to know about her.

I wore this to a kimono meetup with friends at the Denver Botanic Gardens this spring. It was my first time doing the kitsuke by myself (I’m learning)! My friend @snowsongcosplay (who lovingly sewed this kimono together from a bolt of kimono fabric) always helps me!

I chose some rather modern accessories and footwear as my haircut is in no way conducive to traditional styles (and because no one wants to walk all the way through the botanic gardens in zori lollll)

I am so happy people are enjoying our Stand Still Stay Silent photos, because this cosplay group means SO much to me <3 

We tried to recreate one of the banner photos on the front page for the comic, sadly I don’t have a cat but the smoke coming off of Emil’s shoulder just GETS ME

EDIT: wow tumblr REALLY killed the preview quality but it looks good once you click on it

So last weekend I had the photoshoot of my dreams with the best group in the world. I have been dreaming of a shoot like this for over two years, and it finally came to fruition, thanks to all these amazing people 😭

Stand Still Stay Silent @sssscomic is my favorite webcomic, and I got in my head that a group of my best friends would make the PERFECT cast for a Cosplay group, in both looks and personalities! So everybody read the comic and... It happened for real 😭❤️ I'm so, so happy!! . This shoot happened up in the mountains be Breckenridge where there's lots of beautiful scenery, thanks to our photographer Ottoshotgun who also let us crash his place!
